Rude unhelpful staff member who was more interested in eating his burger than helping. I appreciate he probably didn't want to be working Christmas Eve but then don't work in retail
Had the bulb i needed at a cheap price, friendly staff.
Their click-and-collect service is so easy to use and makes the visit super easy and quick. Very well stocked, I've never been and they haven't had what I was looking for. The staff are brilliant, Very knowledgeable which helped me make the correct purchase for the job I was doing. Reasonable prices and quality guaranteed. Definitely my go-to place for all my DIY projects.
The staff are good and the store holds good stock but the parking for this branch is diabolical. It is the closest store to me but I almost always go to brackmills or Gladstone road as I can never park here. Also the access to the store is poor as there are abandoned vehicles both sides of the road all the way up the street.
I haven't felt as compelled to write a review for a long time! I'm a DIY failure and I haven't a clue what I'm doing! From the moment I stepped into store last week, Tom and Donna were incredibly helpful and took their time to help me not only decide what items I needed, but also to give me advice on how to do my painting! Top notch service and lovely people. Also started my job now and the tools are brilliant! Way better than any I've bought before! Oh, I even got offered a cup of tea whilst I was there, you wouldn't get that in B&Q! Thanks!
Click and collect was a game changer in lockdown, and it works really well now. I see there's delivery options now, which I haven't tried but will allow for you to keep on the job minus travelling to collect additional kit.
Staff very friendly and helpful service was quick. One item was out of stock but was sent text the next morning and collected it the same day very happy with shop here again prices were excellent
Doing a home project, I'm forgetful as anything and been down every day for the last week needing to pick up something, it's far far cheaper than the other DIY stores and the service is great, undoubtedly I'll be back tomorrow needing something else I've forgotten!!

Went in yesterday afternoon for an urgent click and collect. Item not in stock due to an error. Gareth, the trainee manager, tried to put 2 items together to make mine and match the price, but the system couldn't do it. I was due on another job and then starting with the tools I was buying. Stephanie, the manager, drove in her own car to another store to pick one up and then dropped it off at my house. Above and beyond, guys, above and beyond. What great service, and guess where I'll be buying all my stuff from now on? WELL DONE
