Tesco is a huge improvement to Budgens for Stony. The store is well stocked and clean and staff go above and beyond for customers and are hard working and professional. I appreciated the help I had when my card was declined and the lady cashier/Manager helped me organise a lunch which was fulfilling and within my cash budget. So grateful for her kindness!
Only 2 people working there n an extremely busy Saturday morning that sound like they are on scripts, all I wanted to go was drop off a evri package and I followed the instructions on the evri machine which had no scanner, it said hand the package behind the counter but the workers refused to take it. Left the package and walked out.
I use this store on average 3 times each week since it opened. To date I have had a good experience, fresh produce, clean aisles and friendly professional staff. Unfortunately this experience has been marred by one member of staff who was in front of me in the checkout queue, she was questioning the price of a piece of fruit, apparently the fruit was priced up at £1.05 and went through the till at £1.10. For the next ten minutes this lady commandeered the checkout for this minor issue. The checkout lady was obviously uncomfortable as she saw me waiting and was aware that perhaps they should deal with this issue later and perhaps serve the customer waiting? The lady continued to question the pricing and called a third member of staff to join in the issue. Meanwhile me, a pensioner with a taxi due to arrive, stood patiently, completely ignored by the lady, at one point she brusquly pushed past me to attend to someone in the self checkout who called out loudly for help. She then returned to sort out the fruit issue, pushing past me again. Not once did she apologise to me, it was as if I was invisible. She obviously has no regard for customers. A very disappointed customer and to cap it all, my taxi had left. I hope not to encounter this lady again who clearly has no concept of the customer experience.
The new Tesco is stony has been a huge improvement to the town. I don't need to leave to town for a huge shop very often, I mainly shop here now, the store is clean, offers both self service and cashiers. You can drop off Evri parcels here, you can buy all your essentials. The staff are very useful and thank god Tesco replaced the old budgens. huge improvement to the town
Massive upgrade from Budgens - a decent supermarket is the only thing Stony was missing! It has everything you need, plus I enjoyed the addition of self-checkout.
So glad to have a Tesco in stony, such an improvement to budgens that was here before It's very sleek and modern inside with brand-new self service checkouts
Recently opened (Feb 23). Good range of stuff for the size, and car parking, tho this may be crowded. Not obvious from the high street.

Fantastic great,living locally galley hill Stony Stratford, to go to supermarket mini,walking distance, feels like Stony Stratford has joined the Morden world,in this case a good Morden world ,no more driving to get any snacks arrr,Fairfield estate, must be very happy especially
