Not a great experience given it was three days before Christmas. We went at 8pm (they were open until midnight) and the shelves were bare. The fresh food counters were closed even though store was still open. On the plus side the lady on the checkout was very friendly

Prices in this store are unclear and misleading. Some products look like they are on promotion, but scan at a higher price because a loyalty card is required, which is not clearly stated on the shelf. The cashier did not ask at the end of the transaction if I had a loyalty card, so it’s easy to forget. At customer service I did get a refund, which I appreciate, but the lady was very unfriendly and rude in the way she spoke. The attitude was disappointing.

Good supermarket with cafe. They provide scooters with a basket on the front for those not able to walk easily which are a game changer for less able people to get involved in their shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful even though they were busy. At the time of visiting the meat joints were on half price making them great value for money. The cafe was nice, prices very reasonable and hot drinks free top up was a bonus. Car parking area is a bit tight on the junctions and unfortunately some people can be a bit impatient. There is a fuel station as well so can top up on the way out.

My most recent visit was due to having to see family in Northampton General Hospital daily for a couple of weeks. This store is close, and easily accessed on my way in/out of town. I was originally visiting the Timpsons store that is located within the Morissons here, but combined it grabbing breakfast and doing a little shopping. The cafe was great! Quiet. Easy ordering. Fully customisable meals. Good range. Very low prices. Quick service. And a fantastic fill up, which was exactly what I needed! This store has a very wide range of products, which is refreshing as it's unlike anything else local to me. The bakery and deli sections were especially nice on this trip. The store had everything I needed, and at a reasonable price too. I joined the loyatly program too, which gave me some points and some discount offers that helped too. Parking was easy. Plenty of spaces. Accessible spaces were easily found and had very easy access into the store. I'll certainly be stopping by next time I'm in the area.

What a shame for Morrisons. All the staff work so tirelessly to deliver to customer expectations, only to lose a 20 years old loyal customer because of the store manager, Gareth. At 4.02pm, after just needing one item, Gareth approached me, my partner and 7 year old child with aggression, demanding I leave the store, approaching close enough that my partner and child were made nervous. I politely requested to get some pork belly, 5 metres from where he confronted us, he said no and I asked to speak to his manager - his response “leave now I’m the store manager” I was in disbelief. Morissons need to check the cctv in store because Gareth will lie about the time - we were standing next to the bread isle, and run a review because he’s not delivering the brand promise, Morrisons have lost a life time customer because of the terrible experience he delivered. He should set an example. Instead he had a smirk on his face when refusing to let me walk 5m to get an item. I’ve left what should be a normal shop with anxiety and extreme frustration about how I was treated. Carol, who served me at 4:06pm after waiting in a queue - was just exemplary and positive even though we were a few minutes over. Not only will I never shop at Morrisons again, I will give the worst net promoter score to anyone when Morrisons is referenced. Gareth needs to revert back to standard operating procedures and training - not only that, staff heard the interaction and one of them mentioned how difficult and rude he is. Good luck to Morrisons.

Very well stocked. We managed to buy a very nice birthday cake for a 7 year old. This store was even better stocked than the Canning Town, London branch

Nice big store, centrally located. Customer toilets available. Plenty of parking. Cafe available. Morrisons also are part of the “to good too go” scheme. Down load the app for cheap food. You only get 2 hours parking. So please remember this or you will get a fine through the post. B&M’s is next door. And a petrol station. Also becketts park is adjacent. Good place to park to shop… then nip into town.

Updated December 2022. Self service only. Only one human operated checkout which was closed. Only ONE member of staff managing all the self service tills. NOBODY CLEANING the self service touch screens. After a 40 minute queue, I'd be surprised if people don't get parking tickets for going over the time limit!

They like to cheat. One price under the product another at the checkout.... But it's a good store Cool promotions and a large selection

Visited the cafe this morning, nice and empty. All change in there now. When ordering drinks they have another station that they call your table number to collect. Ordered from the build your own breakfast. Lovely, table was clean no complaints
