   Called up to see if they could give any advice on what I could purchase from them that would be best to give a cat with a gunky eye. The man who answered the phone was blunt saying they are not a vets so they can’t help with advice. I know your not a vets but you work in a shop that sells things for pets!!

   The store is neat and clean. I contacted them on behalf of my friend regarding a rabbit adoption, and although we were on the waiting list for a few weeks, everything was settled smoothly once I called back. The staff are professional, friendly, and clearly experienced in caring for pets. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

   Writing for a friend… Just need to share my experiences at Pets at home shop Port Talbot this morning. I visited to the store to get some advice on what I needed to use on my dog who was scratching and I had noticed some fleas. I approached a older female assistant and asked for help with this.. I was told very rudely that it was not the dog but my home which upset me very much in the way that it was said. Another male member of staff came over and asked me what I was doing as I was looking through the products and I said I was looking for a shampoo for my dog and he said very arrogant that I need to treat my HOUSE . Was extremely upset by the way I was spoken too, I understand that I need to by products for the dog and also bedding etc BUT I don’t think that the way I was spoken to was appropriate.or necessary. I just think that you need to teach your staff how to speak to customers!! Coming across as rude & arrogant doesn’t encourage people to return to your store.

   Stopped in to purchase and get advice around preparing home for a kitten and was not disappointed. There is a wide selection of food, accessories, equipment and bedding for cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and fish. I got a cat bed on sale for less than £20 which was cheaper than B&M nearby. The food is competitive on price with supermarkets and discount stores. As well as the advice given was an encouragement to download the app as a first time customer and receive a 20% discount. Very appreciated and will shop here again.

   I'm glad I normally shop in Cross Hands pets at home which is an amazing store. The knowledge the staff have from port Talbot is written on a script and even that needs updating. A shame really as there is so much to gain from knowing your products.

   Usually good. Not impressed yesterday. Went to buy a dog coat. Had it in my hands when a member of staff just said can I try this on a dig and took ir before I had chance to answer . She then proceeded to try it on a dog that was scratching like mad . It was the only one in the size and although she handed it back I wasn't about to buy it them. After using your store for years I will now be using a different store. No more pets at home for me .

   Staff are all friendly and go out of their way to help. I had my hamster from the store and they helped me with what cage, food, and accessories were best for her and how to care properly for her. Any questions were answered quickly and professionally and all staff seem to know what they are talking about
