   Always pop in and have a look at the animals. They seem well looked after. Just need to convince the other half we need a pet chicken, rabbit and tortoise. Has a nice rage of pet supplies and the staff are helpful with any tips you may need to look after your new pet . So nice to see that Zoar's is still round after all these years, hopefully it will be round for many many more years

   Visited the store today looking for a tank as a starter. And was helped by Ashley, who explained in detail about all their different tanks and features also mentioned the maintenance of each type including marine, cold water and tropical. I asked what would be easiest as a starter and he suggested tropical and explained everything down to a T. I feel very comfortable leaving with the knowledge and set up! All round nice guy!! Will be returning in the future!

   Every time I visit this place, the customer service is exceptional. Today I visited with my 8yo daughter for her have her helmet refitted. It took us almost an hour but the lady was so patient and wanted it to fit perfectly. Thank you so much for another wonderful experience.

   A staff member was rude when trying to get a hamster. They told me the cage I had was too small, yet I got the cage before from the same place, with no problems. The site even showed the hamster that I planned on getting in that exact cage. They mentioned that the cage would need to be changed every 6 months. I have never heard of such a thing (I have had hamsters before). I had to go somewhere else and received better service.

   I call the shop before travel to them asking if there was a good selection of marine fish and invertebrates, they told me they have a very good variety of marine live stock, but they have badly few fish, the tanks looks disgusting, aiptasie everywhere, asterine, Cyanobacteria and brioxsis algae in every tank. Why they don’t shut it down? If you are going to buy something in there you will infest your tank with the most annoying pests ever. I try to speak with some manager but he was on break. A shop is supposed to give to the hobbyist good advice and give to the animals they hold a good and safe accommodation, but I could not see anything like that, I feel so sorry for the few fishes that are surviving in there. Hope to see an improvement or remove the marine department.

   The variety of animals is worthy of having "Ark" in its name. I didn't see everything as I was solely interested in the aquatic section, which is vast with some very unusual species. From what I could see, they also have a plethora of birds and reptiles too. I only interacted with staff from the aquatic section, but they were helpful and knowledgeable and gave me sound advice. My little girl had a lovely time there, it was akin to going to a zoo for her. Great place, 100% coming back to stock my aquarium.
