Refused to serve my sister for a product, after seeing her VALID ID, her reasoning being that “she only turned 18 a few days ago”. Not to mention that the shopkeepers are constantly leaving you waiting and are on the phone. Every time I go in there I am ignored whilst being served. shoddy.
Never had a problem there . Bonus is that post office is open from 9am-9pm and is open on Sundays too but postoffice open till 8pm on a Sunday. Take note, may come in handy

Disappointed that this is my local. The service is shocking. There's never a genuine smile always a forced one. 9 times out of 10 i feel as though they would prefer me to shop somewhere else instead of interrupting there conversation or phone call. Customers a regularly standing qround at 7.20 in the morning waiting for someone to arrive and open up the shop. (Website states open at 7????) Overall I wouldn't shop here unless I was too ill to go anywhere else. Leaving a que of customers waiting at a till because your too busy on a personal call is not really very good is it. There are many more places to choose from. I get better service at the little premier shop and the co op. They actually appreciate people spending there hard earned cash in their shop. My advice - shop anywhere else if u can.
Under normal circumstances I have liked using this store, however during COVID-19 this store does not appear to be monitoring the use of masks. The store is very small so social distancing is near impossible making this feel like too much risk. I will not be returning to the store until either COVID-19 levels in Northampton are very small or the store do more to police the use of masks and hygiene with baskets etc
