couldn’t be happier with my bridal hair! It turned out absolutely perfect — elegant, secure, and exactly what I envisioned for my big day. Went three different times, three different hairdressers and unhappy with the experiences. First time the colour turned out patchy and purple when I asked for pink, I have anxiety so didn’t say anything there and then but she had the audacity to say it looked great and took photos, also my top was ruined with pink dye. I did ring up to and they did fix it, the owner blow dried my hair but after didn’t bother brushing it so I had to get out my compact brush. Second time I specifically said I don’t want the pink to be too bright but it turned on bright magenta pink, when she was mixing the colour she asked if it was okay but I was too anxious to say no, I think it looks too bright, I didn’t directly say after but it was obvious and she didn’t care. I’m pretty sure because of how bright pink she dyed it is the reason I have brassy warm tones on my length. Third time the colour didn’t come through enough which she blamed my hair when the product used crazy Color candy floss has bad reviews on Superdrug. I’m unsure if they think I’m stuck up because I’m quiet and won’t talk much or because of that they think they can get away with doing a bad job. I didn’t want to walk out the salon into town with bleached hair which is why I get them to do the pink but tell me why they can’t do that and I can achieve the pink I want at home. I have been contacted to make up for the experiences but I don’t feel comfortable going back again.
Flo is amazing! My hair has never looked so healthy, beautiful and the colour! Would go every week for the wonderful experience I had. I have a lot of hair PTSD from other salons but felt listened to, understood and cared for here! 100/10 ❤️

It’s always a pleasure coming to Charlie’s to have my hair done, especially when greeted with a friendly service from everyone who works there. Charlie always knows what to do with my hair before I know what I want and she goes above and beyond with her service and recommending products. My hair is in such great condition despite the blonde upkeep and always gets good treatment from the team here and compliments from friends and family afterwards are a bonus. Highly recommend to everyone :).
I highly recommend Charlie Brown's Hair Salon to anybody wanting a decent hair cut and colour, amongst providing a variety of other hair and beauty treatments. The staff are friendly and professional which goes towards creating a great atmosphere. I am always pleased with my hair after visiting the salon. In addition, only top quality hair products are used, leaving your hair feeling and looking fabulous. The stylists really listen to the clients and will advise accordingly in order to best accommodate their individual haircare needs. All in all, a great experience every time!
