My nails have never been better since I’ve been having my nails done here. I get Builder in a bottle (BIAB) gel nails done every three weeks and they have never been stronger. I have long nails now after years of short bitten ones. The team at Sunshine are lovely. They always fit me in and have a lovely range of colours. They always get me to check my nails and that I am happy with them before I leave. I have one instance of my gel polish chipping on one nail after a couple of days and they replaced it for me. Getting my nails done is my treat to myself and the team at Sunshine make it worth it. Thanks.

I got gel removed (with the drill) and replaced with regular shellac, pretty sure I got over charged...because £60 (pedi and "mani") for what was done is wild. Didn't take any care to remove dry skin from around nails, shaped the nails only after polish- which makes it peel off so fast. Had it done less than a week ago and its already coming off. I can do a better job at home, I'm very disappointed.

Worst customer service i’ve ever experienced. would give no stars if i could, extremely rude and unprofessional, especially receptionist and manager. if I were you i’d go to nails 4 u just down the road, who are nice and can actually do the designs you want, I may as well have gotten my toddler to do them with the state that i left the shop in. agreed that they could do the simple design that i requested, shocker, they couldn’t, yet they won’t tell you up front because they just want your money for messy, and mediocre at best nails. won’t be returning. hope no one else does, honestly shocking.

update - the 18 year old receptionist has found my personal social media to confront me. I’ve never been spoken to like this by another grown adult in my entire life. I’ve been going to sunshine nails since they opened, never had a bad experience. Today I went in for some halloween-ish nails, they attempted to copy the photo I gave them but when I said I was really unhappy with them he went over them in total black. I assume the man who did my nails was new as I hadn’t seen him in there before so I left the shop disappointed and with black and orange nail varnish all over my fingertips. I don’t like conflict so it took a lot of convincing for me to go back in and ask for my money back. I went in and the shop was a lot more full then when I had just been in, I politely asked for the manager and said I didn’t like my nails. I’ve never seen her react this way before, she sat me down, began to take my nails off and started to berate me in front 10+ other people who were in the shop. She wouldn’t let me or my relative speak, she told me it was my fault and asked me why I didn’t ask for a different colour or why I didn't ask for the powder that was used in the reference photo I had. (If I had been told I needed powder I would’ve happily paid.) I told her I was really sorry, that I just didn’t want to offend anyone and all I wanted was my money back. I started crying in the chair while she kept screaming at me - I promise I am not exaggerating. After she had roughly removed my nails she marched me past all the customers she had just completely humiliated me in front of. We left with my money, and her still shouting at us. My relative told her that the way she’d treated us was completely rude. I am utterly heartbroken, I’ve always given sunshine nails great recommendations and it’s been my go to shop since I was 15, she showed no remorse to making me cry or to the awful nails she shouldn’t have let me pay for. My nail beds are bloody and there’s still nail varnish on my finger tips. I’m so embarrassed as I work in the highstreet and see a lot of people who work in / go to sunshine nails regularly.

The place is almost always busy, so a booking is recommended. However if you have time, can wait too. I love the service here and quality of work is high and reliable. The technician works with your wishes and suggestions and you get exactly what you want. I really enjoy pedicure here, so relaxing and it's always an adventure to choose a colour. I've been a customer here since November '21 and travel from Stafford, I like the place, quality and service so much!

Tired of having single mum nails I decided to pop in on the off chance. No appointment booked but Hannah seated me immediately. Asked what I wanted “gel nails” was my response. Looked at my nails and politely enquired “extension too?” Right length, very professional and the first time my nails have made me smile in years. Will try some nail art next time. Very pleased!
