The helpful suggestions and finesse regarding the engraving inscription; with council of the engraver, I received exactly what my father would want. Thank you James and the team.

   Great staff and excellent service! I ordered a smoking pipe from here a couple of weeks ago. Dominic inspected the pipe I wanted before sending it and noticed a crack in the bowl. He sent pictures and offered a similar model or said he would order the model I wanted and ship it when he received it. I was willing to wait on the model I wanted, and I'm sure glad I did. It's a beautiful pipe. I'm grateful for the services provided and will be doing business with them again. I highly recommend Harrison and Simmonds for great quality products and excellent service!

   Fantastic place. Was on a work journey and staying overnight in Bedford. Called ahead to check the range of cigars and opening times. Arrived shortly after 4pm. Both gents there were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Even got a recommendation as to the better pubs near my hotel where I could get a great pint to enjoy my stogie with. Excellent. When work brings me this way again I will return.

   I love my knick knacks and little curiosos. This store sells a wide range of cigars, but the chess sets had me at go. The sets are old but well crafted and would be perfect for that corner table. You really just need to make a visit. H&S also has pipes and anything a cigar/tobacco aficionado needs. They carry a limited supply of flavoured cigars for those who need that little extra. The prices are comparable aka cigar smoking is an expensive hobby (which can kill you/is not good for your health: DISCLAIMER). But it is what it is, and I appreciate it!

   They lost part of my Gold Dunhill lighter, then requested photographs of the same lighter to prove it had a hallmark. Original part gone but H & S are 'sure broken part is still in workshop' Expensive mistake to trust their services. No record of lighters sent to them for repair. Do not risk anything cherished or valuable.

   I realise that old tobacco shops are not really P.C but this shop is 93yrs old and it is so much more than just a tobacco shop. They sell the most amazing collectables from Star Wars to Doctor Who but beautiful pieces that are unique and at reasonable prices which you cannot find elsewhere including online. They are always welcoming, friendly and helpful. On some really dark days in my life, I have gone in there and the next minute I have been sat down with a cup of coffee (obviously this was before the pandemic!) and suddenly I am talking to friends and they have made an awful day feel just a bit more brighter. I beg you to go and check this shop out because it is awesome and especially at a time when so many businesses and shops have permanently closed because of COVID19, the fact that it is still around, is testament to how good it truly is even if you don't smoke.

   Just wanted to say fantastic service from this business. Ordered a pocket watch as a gift which I had requested to be engraved. Spoke to the shop to clarify the engraving, could not have been more friendly & helpful, item arrived the following day! The watch exactly as described & what I had wanted. Brilliant!!
