   Unfortunately the sausage and chips where very greasy and lack of flavour stood out. We left the chips and the sausage wasn't anything to write home about. So disappointed was looking forward to the meal. only good point is they where hot. If you like your chips soggy or mushy this is for you many people I know like them like that.

   I went here this week as a guilty indulgence and gave £20 for sausage and chips which I was aiming to grab quickly. They gave me change for £10 and then instead of believing me they kept me waiting for 10mins while they checked their video, which proved nothing as it was too blurry to see. I have used them many times before and never been 'wowed' by their manners, but their food has always been fine. But I will never go there again as the Chinese manager made me feel terrible, never offered an apology and was basically rude. I don't think anyone deserves such terrible manners, or such a lack of adept customer handling that I have ever witnessed. I just left without my food, without half my money and made to feel like an inconvenience. If such a place insists on having 3 staff members to every customer it would be much more practical to make sure they can count, recognise currency and legal tender. I think that was the worst food experience I have ever had..and I never even got to eat the snack ..I was so appalled I walked out! Very sad state of affairs ..

   Excellent. Easily, one of the best in Norfolk. Crispy chips, batter and meaty fish! Super friendly. Great to still be able to support and champion local, family businesses who are smashing it!

   I hate to leave a bad review for a local business but after me and my partner throwing up after eating the food we got from them it leave me no choice. we ordered a small cod and chips, unbattered sausage and a chicken burger. the chips were about the only part of the meal that was acceptable, the burger didn't come with a bun just the smallest battered chicken fillet you can think of thrown in with our fish and chips and the fish was like rubber and did not taste okay at all! I now know the fish was not okay as most of what we did eat is now either in the toilet or our mop bucket as that's all I could get to in time... although me and my partner shared the meal neither of us could finish it and only ended up eating a third of the fish, the rest went in the bin. last dime we will buy from Tom's fish bar as the food is obviously not up to standard

   Chips are absolutely on point and as they should be. Batter on the cod was a bit heavier for me personally, but the husband loved it like that. Batter aside, fish was cooked really well and you can taste the quality. Staff are really lovely.
