    While this shop is good for Christmas and other occasions for decorations etc The last few times I've been in the shop in newhaven. The Christmas section has been closed off with the same group of staff doing whatever they are doing Maybe stocking shelves So just can't get to look at things So annoying!! Here's an idea guys Why can't you do this when shop is closed or before you open Just an idea

    Is it compulsory for young adults to be uninterested, grumpy or just plain rude. The majority of staff in this shop have little or no retail experience. It is very clear that the training that they receive for customer service is minimal or nonexistent. As regards the choice of goods, they are as competitive as any general store in the uk and just as affordable too. I would advise having a list of what you need and if they stock it before you visit though, as the chances of the staff knowing if they stock anything is about as rare as an ashtray on a motorcycle.

    Staff are friendly and approachable and always happy to help. There's new products in every so often and everything seems to be quite a reasonable price. I especially like the range of children and pet toys and the gardening products.

    Every time we go into poundstretcher we come out happy. You could not get nicer people as staff. Everyone from the manager down is friendly, polite, cheerful and helpful. It's almost like a family. We actually look forward to shopping there and the stock is always interesting and good. Best shop in Newhaven!
