Great little café. Nice looking menu with hot lunches and good all day breakfast options. We had breakfasts , local meats their own eggs too. Only negative was very noisy and echoey but that's just as it was busy and the walls are bare wood so sound bounces around but worth bearing in mind if you little ones get triggered by noise. Would definitely recommend though as was delicious and hot. Tea even served in pots with loose leaf tea too which I love. Thank you to all staff as service great and friendly too.

The Broken Egg Cafe is very clean with a good breakfast menu. We had pots of loose leaf breakfast tea which was lovely, and a selection of breakfast meals. All the food came promptly and the service was attentive without being over the top. My eggs florentine was very nice with soft yolks. We will definitely be returning.

We found this place after getting confused with the clock change, meaning we were an hour early than planned. A quick Google Map search showed this place a five minute drive away. On arrival you will find ample parking and a warm welcome. Judging by the about of people already sat down this place is popular and you can see why. The cafe and toilets are immaculate. The food is good but some of it is a little on the pricier side. The staff are friendly and attentive. This turned out to be a great little find and our spare hour flew by. They were also great with accommodating our three year old.

An amazing place to have breakfast when out on a long walk. It is very dog friendly. They also have an out door seating area with hits in the field. The food was delicious, I got the breakfast sandwich and it came stacked. Well worth the price. Highly recommend visiting here.

Came with a group of friends and despite not being too busy, staff behind the counter seemed annoyed we'd visited (table booked). Couldn't have beans on toast despite it being an option on the children's menu (would have been happy to pay more than that price) and I needed a magnifying glass to see the cake I ordered (that is a small fork for scale) which was a push for £3.50. Waiting staff were great, but the lady behind the counter made it feel like I was putting them out by being there, I'll save her the bother by not going back.
