Nice pub, it's actually quite big inside. Plenty of seating of different sizes for big and small groups. Service was great and the food was really nice. Wetherspoons sometimes get a bad rep but this was really nice. Never been before, as not from Corby but would come again ☺️ The pub also has a hotel, however I didn't stay. But I'm sure the rooms are nice.

We did'nt stay here but our family did and said the rooms were great. We sat downstairs in the pub and ordered drinks and food. As usual in wetherspoons the food was decent and good value and came swiftly. The main issues were the cleanliness as the whole place was just full of dirty tables and staff were making little to no attempt to clear them of plates and glasses and we even had to clear our own. Many followed suit and used unoccupied tables as "dumping areas" for plates and glasses and some were stacked pretty high. We then ordered drinks through the app (which said 8 minute wait) but waited for 30 minutes, then when we queried it the staff didn't believe us to start with then realised their mistake and said they were "doing it now" we then still had to wait another 10-15 minutes. Good value for money as always but just needs a few tweaks.

We used the pub for a meal at lunch. The curry i had was good, but the rice was stuck together and the poppadoms where oily. I usually enjoy the curry but must have been an off day.

While all Wetherspoons are always a good place to visit, this one was relatively even better. Spacious indoors and also a beautiful outdoor area if you want to enjoy your beer under the sun. The staff were super friendly and also fast. The food was amazing, worth the price and speedy. Really good vibe and the toilets were the fanciest seen so far. Easy access from the city center car park.

Great rooms, quiet, modern and comfortable with great shower, bottled water & tea/coffee. Also ironing board and iron. Restaurant is great, good food, excellent service. Parking - you can park outside between certain hours but there is a large car park about 2 minute walk away. Staff - excellent, friendly and ensure you have everything you need.

My wife and I are definitely ,”Spoons fans,”we look them up wherever we end up. Always excellent value for money and a good meal. Their curries are excellent . This was our first visit to ,”TheSaxon Crown.” Best Weatherspoons so far . Table spotless, staff couldn’t have been better, friendly and helpful, toilets clean and tidy and the food was absolutely smashing. I had the Burns Night special Caledonian Burger with haggis. Well done Saxon Crown,we will certainly be back.

This is a great wetherspoons, staff work very hard to keep it clean and organised while maintaining a friendly and polite manner. It's a town centre pub so that is no mean feat. Low staff turnover so clearly very well run by management.

Really impressed with the hotel! Staff were very friendly. Room was very clean and really comfortable. To be fair I was a bit sceptical booking at first, but I can say I was pleasantly surprised with the high standards. Really worth considering over some mainstream hotel chains!

Was undecided on my pint trying to ask which ale I’d like. The bartender, a very short female moved on from me immediately without assisting me in the “try before you buy” she also used vulgar language behind the bar and decided to not help me, I will be taking my business elsewhere. However Storm was fantastic, he was a knowledgeable bartender who was willing to help me with my ale choices
