   I took my husband and a friend for lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My meal ( lamb)was very good as was that of our friend( fish), all off a la carte menu. However my husband was not happy with his chicken in Madeira sauce/mushrooms… I have to say I was surprised when his plate was presented as it was awash with a brown sauce and he said the chicken was dry. He couldn’t eat much.He did not make a fuss at the time, not wanting to spoil my treat, but I wish he had. I wish I could have taken a photo of his plate just for feedback. I was desperately disappointed as your restaurant was recommended as expensive but a cut above pub food. The amount of green veg was poor. We are all lifelong foodies and not your usual complainers.We do not mind paying if food is of excellent quality. Saddened.

   Always try and stop in the kings arms when passing through. Food in the restaurant is superb, amazing Sunday Dinner… first time drinking in the annex opposite the main building- very cozy little place with some good ales and lagers on taps… £6.15 for an estrella which is very good value: Only downside is that the bar staff have to keep jumping back to the main pub, not that it was a massive problem as only had a couple of pints. Place had a dartboard, couldn’t help think if this place had a TV with the sport in it would be fantastic, only thing that’s stopping me give it 5 stars

   We've been wanting to come and stay here for many years and this weekend we finally got the chance to celebrate our anniversary. We had the Fox room outside, the room was beautifully decorated and had lots of facilities, such as flannels, soaps, hair dryer, tea, coffee, biscuits etc. We also had a slot to use the hot tub, which was lovely and warm, right until the church tower. A truly wonderful experience. For dinner, my husband had arranged for us to have the taster menu, it was absolutely incredible. The food, insane. The service, exceptional. The venue and vibe, magical. Our table was right by the kitchen and it was amazing to watch those chefs work, each plate was a work of art. We had great fun to try and guess what was on the plate. The dishes we had were full of flavour, vibrant and absolutely delicious. Our favourite was the pigeon and mushroom risotto. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The whole evening was just wonderful. After a lovely night's sleep. We had breakfast, again another delicious plate of food. Everything was to the highest standard, and I can't wait to come back again!

   This was our third visit to the Kings Arms in Fleggburgh, and once again the experience was outstanding. The food is consistently excellent, prepared by a talented team of chefs, and the service is just as impressive. The staff are well-trained, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your visit enjoyable. This isn’t just superior pub food (though they do that brilliantly) — it’s a quality restaurant. A real gem and well worth discovering!

   Service definitely better than your average restaurant. Clean and tidy. White linen table cloths always a winner. That's good even before you get to the warm fresh roll served by tongs. Simple things but you'd be amazed how many places just don't reach these standards. Bream had so much flesh and steak was tenden. Winner. Home made toffee pudding absolutely delicious with plenty of sauce. Go and see for yourself. It's great and as I have to find something wrong... its the seats. Too hard. Take a cushion to sit on. I will next time.

   Ate the festive menu here last night and every mouthful was absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive, lovely calm environment, will definitely return even though it’s more than 100 miles away. The best meal I’ve had for a long time. Cannot fault it

   Absolutely superb food beautifully presented and served. They were able to adapt the menu for our gluten free needs with no drama. Can honestly say this was one of the best meals we have had in a long while. Thank you to the chef and the waiting staff well done all of you.

   Had a wonderful lunch here today, food was excellent and service calm and confident. The chicken with wild mushrooms was excellent, so tasty with great depth of flavour. We were surprised to find the set lunch menu so reasonably priced. Will definitely come again and bring friends.
