Having a recommendation from a friend it was suggested that I visit the guys at Axios for a tattoo that I was wanting, on arrival I met both Ade and Nigel, they both came across as really friendly and genuinely interested in what I was after and and how they could help, as this was my first Nigel spent a long time with me chatting through designs and ideas, putting my nerves to rest throughout the whole process, I would definitely suggest anyone in the area wanting some top artistry carried out to pop in a see the guys!

Can't recommend this place highly enough - I have been getting tattooed by Ade for the past eight years and wouldn't go anywhere else! All work from Ade and Nige is completely original so a consultation appointment is necessary and a great chance to get ideas and input from them as well. I love all my tattoos - they are all Japanese, which is probably what Ade is best known for, however he works in a whole range of different styles. The atmosphere in the studio is always friendly and welcoming - I am generally a bit of a wimp when it comes to a long session of tattooing but you always feel looked after and cups of tea are provided! The new shop is lovely - small and intimate but also bright, and easy walking distance from town. Worth stopping by just to take a look at their non tattoo work which is on the walls!

Opened recently by two very talented artists from Nine, Brighton, Axios Tattoo is an absolute breath of fresh air those of us that love being inked. The Studio is situated right next to Hove train station with very good links to the rest of the country and also (and very handy for me) there is ample car parking around the area. I myself, make a 230 mile round trip to the studio, and to be honest if it was 500 miles each way I would still make that journey. I have been tattooed by both Ade and Nige for over 12 years now, sometimes for 7 or more hours a sitting and have always felt welcome, safe and comfortable. The Studio is a very nice place to visit and be inked in. Always comfortable and mostly with great music on the stereo (Apart from when Ade puts Sound Garden on ;) ). The work you will get is fantastic, I can promise you that you will never walk away feeling anything other than very very happy and you will want to come back, probably sooner than your wallet will allow, I know I do! Axios only do custom work so expect to be the only person walking around with the work you get there. I am very careful about where I am tattooed regarding my safety, knowing there is no chance of picking up a pathogen or an infection due to the artist's knowledge and cleanliness is my number one priority. You can rest assured that you will have no worries in that department here. 5 Stars all the way from me. I can't wait for my next visit!
