   Amazing little shop, the likes of which are rarely seen nowadays due to the larger DIY stores but over the last few months I have acquired everything I needed from Whiteheads, from bathroom spotlights; garden timber fixings and screws and even a new brush - all at a fraction of what I would have payed at one of the larger DIY stores. Most valuable was the knowledge of the nice man that runs the shop whose advice has been really helpful and spot on - I doubt that such knowledge is possessed by the staff in the bigger stores! I will be back now that I know that this little gem exists!

   A gem amongst all the bland giant hardware stores around. Whiteheads are always my first choice whenever I need anything diy. Great service and advice. He always points me in the right direction.

   Smells like a proper hardware shop, love it!. The gentleman who runs the store is a really nice bloke and seems to be very knowledgeable. There are not enough of this type of establishments left. And I bet he could sell you four candles.

   Great little DIY shop bought a no of items today and cheaper than bnq and wicksies and had keys cut a lot cheaper than anywhere else would definitely recommend people to use it
