Super helpful today with my purchase
I’ve had to try here twice now when screw fix have not had an item. First time (about a year ago), the staff ignored me and continued flirting and making innuendos to one another. I felt like I shouldn’t be there. Second time (this week) a older guy ‘served’ me and he was as follows; 1. Unknowable 2. Condescending 3. Rude 4. Arrogant 5. Grumpy 6. Frustrated 7. Unwelcoming 8. Unhelpful I will never come back, team screwfix!
Shame I have to give this company 1 star which they don’t even deserve. I bought a handle for a cabinet. When screwing with the screw provided in the packaging it snapped in the handle. I took it back 10 minutes later with the receipt and said dodgy screw. They refused to refund me or replace it. The man behind the counter couldn’t care less. I’ll stick to screwfix across the road. Never again.
I was served by the lovely young lady Caitlin who was very kind and extremely helpful with finding the right things I had been looking for. Not only did she find them for me but did so quickly and with a smile. She didn’t make it feel like I had asked such a difficult task of her as you might experience somewhere else. After having no luck finding these items anywhere else, she really made my day. Will definitely be a loyal customer here from now on. Thanks again to Caitlin :)
My server immediately understood my vague description of what I wanted. Found it in the catalogue and sold it to me in under 5 minutes. Excellent service and a pleasant chat too. And good prices.
..fabulous "over and above" service.. managed to lose a rubber seal from a gutter adapter, went in to buy new unit but they "magically" found a spare seal and charged me nothing.. thank you..!
I unfortunately didn’t have the best customer service from I believe the manager, unfriendly, like how dare I place orders with them which gives them work to do in picking the orders out. From the outset didn’t feel like she wanted to give me a smile or be thankful of my order. Had an issue before with a wrong item of which I made no fuss and had to wait another 2 days for a delivery instead despite a wasted 2 journeys to the branch. So next time I will take my hard earned cash and spend it with the friendly staff at Screwfix just across the road.

I went to purchase some new radiators last week, I hadn't used Tool Station for a large purchase before but I should not have been worried. I spoke with Lisa who greeted me with a warm smile and friendly 'hello' which is always a nice way to start business. She was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and helped me with my purchase - nothing was to much trouble. I think I have definitely found my favourite hardware store from now on !
