   Call yourself a Charity? You should be ashamed of yourselves. My partner had attempted to give away my 5-year-old, two three-seater Italian leather sofa which cost me £3,500 and was sat on by a then single male who worked shifts for just over a year. Before being covered and put into dry storage. Where it has remained since. Both thought that someone less fortunate could benefit from a designer, well made excellent condition sofa. Sold by a Charity for the benefit of the local community. But no. This arrogant, money-grabbing mob aren’t happy with that. They want to charge us £50 for the privilege of taking it away and selling it. Citing expensive fuel costs from Kettering to Northampton. I’ve no idea what you are putting in your fuel tanks. But it isn’t Diesel. Which is seeming more expensive than gold according to you now. I suspect it’s because you are paying for a third-party house clearance team. I could get the council to take it away for £25 along with 3 other items. A travesty really due to the nature of the item. I’m done giving to charity. It’s not the first time we have been abused when giving away expensive, quality items. Shocking considering some of the tat you see them selling. Anyway, you can clearly tell I’m a bit annoyed. My advice is to steer clear of these scammers hiding behind a Charity certificate.

   Very efficient, reliable service and it is good to think that much of the furniture could be reused rather than put in to landfill. The father and son volunteers who came to clear my mother's house and garage were excellent. Very pleasant and very hard working and helpful, so obliging. They were very careful with the furniture and property and did a fantastic job of not only clearing but also sweeping and cleaning the garage which had been an absolute tip. The new owner said how impressed he was with it. Thank you very much.
