I was continually shocked by what they let their landlords get away with. They don't fight for you, and I'd be surprised if they actually passed anything on.
Absolutely dire company, especially Harry, if you were thinking about letting a property my advice would be look elsewhere as some companies actually care ! Arnold's Keys definitely don't!
The start of our tenancy went very smoothly, and attaining the keys and completing the forms wasn't such a hassle. However we've just left our previous place, and trying to get a hold of our deposit has been a nightmare. The staff seem to only communicate when something is needed from the tenant. All other contact seems to be ignored. After waiting 2 days for a reply to my email I phoned the office, only to be told I'll receive a reply when someone is back. And of course I didn't. Feels extremely unprofessional. We also had several issues with Arnolds Keys during the later stages of our tenancy. Our boiler had started to stop working and when Arnolds Keys sent someone to fix it, it ended up not working at all, and we were given 0 information on how to get it working again. In addition to this we had viewings arranged for people to view the flat to rent after we'd left, not once did anybody turn up when we were expecting them. This would've been fine, if it weren't for the fact that nobody had let us know it wouldn't be happening. Just left us waiting all day. Be cautious when entering into business with Arnolds Keys, I can't speak for other branches however the Norwich team seem to care very little about their clients unless it benefits them in any way.
The initial lady that showed us around our (now) rented house was kind, thoughtful, professional and human. However, In the process of looking for a property we dealt with at least a dozen estate agents, Arnold Keys was the most rude and unprofessional- from at least two members of staff we spoke to. This was due to the size of our family. We were told if they knew there were so many of us we wouldn't have received a viewing and discouraged from applying - were even incredulous at the thought of it. If I had a choice, I would not deal with them.
Severely disappointed in the customer service and experience. Looking for a commercial property and contacted Arnold’s Keys to get an update on how things were progressing with a property I went to see. Have emailed and called requesting an update even if there is no news it would be great to know what is happening. Have heard nothing for over 3 weeks now. Assuming the deal is dead. Coming from a corporate background I call this poor professionalism and lack of basic human decency. I am not surprised the property has been empty for over two years. As a landlord I would be furious to know my property is not being run efficiently. Shall take my business elsewhere. Thankfully have met some rather splendid agents from other businesses who have time for customer queries.
I highly recommend Arnold Keys as an estate agent. Their team in Norwich have been excellent throughout the entire process. I changed to use them after experiencing 4 sales fall through with another agency. Arnold Keys got multiple offers on my property and help choose the most suitable purchaser as a result the sale completed in good time. I believe this is down to good customer service and the staff really knowing their clients.
They handled the change of tenant, with quite a lot of repair and refurbishment in the interlude, efficiently. I was kept informed at all stages about options, costs and timings, and they managed everything for me. All that, and they added human touches: I always knew I was dealing with a person, not a system.
Arnolds Keys are very friendly and professional, By far the best experience I have ever had with any estate agent, unrivalled service! I highly recommend especially the Norwich and Aylsham branches.
