Recently moved to the area, first time I have shopped in ASDA Wolstanton, what a lovely store, clean , bright and the staff in the background but there when required. Yes I will be shopping here again. Sourdough bread excellent, well done to all concerned, you have got it so right for a community store.

Miserable staff standing around chatting then gave me attitude and treated me like I was an idiot because I refused to operate the self checkout partly because I wasn't aware it was self checkout only because I had never been in that branch before, I was only there because I was getting a few things for my elderly mother who lives nearby, and partly because I don't agree with them anyway so if I had known I would probably have gone elsewhere. I didn't come in for a job I came in to buy stuff but I promise you I won't be back and after this experience that applies to every asda store. The customer is the most important person in the shop not the badly trained staff if asda don't know that then I won't give them any more of my money.

I have to say firstly I like the store , never had a problem but my issue is with the car park at school time. I called the other day and no one would let me out of my spot and I had to wait over 10 minutes before I could leave. Today I called 2 cars had taken up 2 spaces but I managed to take the last space on the car park. Hardly anyone in the store. On returning to my car a ‘school dad’ nearly hit me as I walked towards my car and again no one lets you out. This makes this convenient shop not convenient as those using the car park don’t use the store.

Been here today with a disabled parent and other parent that has just come out of hospital. Did a full shop with both of them got to the till packed 2 trolleys of shopping got outside it was pouring down with rain eventually got to the car and packed it took the trolleys back got in the car and found we were 10 minutes over the parking limit. I went back into the shop as is says you can inform a member of staff if you are going to be over but got to the person on the parcel counter who rudely said there was nothing they could do about it and wasn't prepared to do anything. I asked to see a manage but when they were called would not come to see me. No customer service no consideration they could have taken my car details and dealt with this but clearly could not be bothered would not recommend this stor to anyone so unhelpful

Went in this morning. Got the flowers I wanted. My sister struggled to get her one item through a self checkout so she asked a lady on a till if she could pay through her Lane. She was told not without a trolley!!!!!! So she used another self checkout and the same error message appeared, after waiting ages for a member of staff to appear the error was finally sorted. Very time consuming experience for one item
