I use this store daily however I went Monday of this week, when I arrived I noticed a member of staff outside, smoking and on her phone. I proceeded to go into the store and had to wait about 10 minutes for her to come back in and serve me. When she finally came in there was no apology or warm welcome. She was abrupt and made me feel like I was a nuisance waiting to get a stamp from the post office. This person I’ve been told was standing in, apparently she was a manager from another store. Awful customer service, there were two others waiting for the post office who witnessed her rudeness. May I suggest customer relations training! I am not used to this in the store, Brenda and her team are all amazing.

Go here very often for lunch, always greeted with friendly faces and warm welcomes. Great small talk, jokes, overall great shop! Specific mention to Sarah ball, brenda johnson and Shell/Chell (not sure surname)

As this is the only shop close to work I have to use it otherwise I’d never step foot in there again . Rude , slow and every time I have to go in the staff are having personal conversations and ignoring customers. As I’m on a work break and only get 30 minutes I don’t have the leisure to wait 10minutes while staff finish discussing their weekend. When I tried to attract staff attention I’m tutted at and given a death stare. How dare I disturb their conversation as a paying customer!! Also over priced with little selection.

It seems every time I drive here specifically because they advertise the Post Office has open long hours, something or other means it is shut. A delivery, someone on a break, cashing up the till etc I politely ask how long it will be and am greeted by hostility and extreme rudeness. Told "no idea" and spoken to like I am being unreasonable expecting to be served and that I shouldn't be there. One time I was standing waiting for a good 15 minutes and one employee told me to stop looking at the counter as it was not helping the cashier being stared at. I was just waiting, for a long time, not staring at her. I don't mind waiting but being treated like a total nuisance i do object to. 2 members of staff have been very rude, the others have been absolutely delightful.

I use this shop often as it is close for us and the staff are superb! However, yesterday I popped in for a few things and walked up to the counter when the lady there looked up and tutted at me as it appeared she was wanting to put a basket of stock out. I then asked if she would like me to pass the shopping through to her and she was rude, tutting and rolling her eyes. I was taken aback at how rude she was. I work in retail myself and understand at the moment especially, its challenging but felt it was very uncalled for and unprofessional. After putting my things through she then went on to put the card transaction through without asking if I needed a bag. When I asked if it's possible to get a bag considering there was too much to carry, She then proceeded to tut, roll her eyes and ask me to cancel the transaction. Im sorry to moan about this but the staff are amazing and extremely friendly and think that this is not a way to treat customers, especially ones that aren't "difficult" customers and think maybe she would need to consider how she approaches people in future.

Asked to buy condomns as a prank for my dad and wasn’t aloud after searching online and finding they are available for all ages! It was only a prank! NHS: Myth: You have to be 18 to buy condoms. Truth: Condoms are available at any age and free of charge from contraception clinics, Brook centres, sexual health (GUM) clinics, further education colleges and young people's clinics. These services also provide confidential advice.

I would like to thank the staff on the behalf of my mum, she came into the shop on Thursday and has speech and language issues. The lady at the till was extremely patient with my mum and gave her the time she needed to work out what she was saying. I am so happy with how this store dealt with my mum. Thank you
