Very short staffed, and frequently they're closed because of that. Also it often takes well over a week to get a prescription from them, sometimes more than two. The staff themselves are good but overall I really wouldn't recommend it.

Prescriptions are never ready! Put a prescription 6 days ago, now urgent, have tried to call, no one answers. Fed up with turning up and being told the pharmacist is busy or either on a 2 hr lunch until 3 pm. People work too and lunch time is the only convenient slot. So many times I have been turned away saying it’s not ready!

Might be one of the worst pharmacies I've ever experienced. Meaning no offence to the staff, as they're often friendly enough, but they're clearly overstretched and have too few resources to properly manage the workload. The common experience upon requesting your prescription items is to be asked to come back in one hour, sometimes half a day later, so they can "process" it (a process that takes most pharmacies under five minutes). Most days, it seems like everyone on staff is too busy managing a backlog that they forget to serve the customers in the shop. They blankly refuse to answer the phone most mornings -- if you go in, you'll hear it ringing off the hook -- so good luck checking whether they have your items to avoid the "wait a half a day" request.

Awful. 2 people in front of me. I had to wait 15 minutes while prescriptions were searched for, one of which was ordered 16 days ago and this was the 4th time the lady had been to try and collect, she was eventually told it must have been used for somebody else. I was told mine was in stock but to come back in 30 mins, it was ordered by GP 36 hours earlier but I had not been able to collect it the day before as they were closing the shop as I arrived at about noon as the they had no pharmacist! I returned to collect my prescription but had to wait for 10 minutes as they tried to find an ordered item for the person in front of me, it was not there! I previously used this pharmacy a year ago with exactly the same issues, closed on first attempt, had to wait over an hour to get the prescriptions plus 20-30 minutes queuing.... at today the staff were concentrating on their work and not rude, I felt sorry for them as it is obvious this particular shop is an afterthought and very poorly managed. I will NEVER go back through choice.

Not the staff's fault they only get two stars, the area itself really needs an update. The staff are helpful and know their stock.

Visiting the area and needed advice and purchases for new baby. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and interested. Really appreciated the great service, thank you so much.

For years I put up with the waiting to be served, the not finding assistance, the “come back in 30 minutes” thing when getting prescriptions (that other people mention), etc, etc, because generally the staff are friendly. But today, in Anglia Sq. I was talked to abruptly, in a very unfriendly manner, and frankly, it was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

The pharmacy is AWFUL. I have to wait 25 minutes for my prescription everytime I need it, when the store is empty and I'm the only one in the queue? Boots should make some changes and investigate why this is the case. Waiting 25 minutes for a prescription to be put together is poor customer service at its finest. Many people have complained about the same issue.

I can't remember the name of the person that helped me (sorry!) but I'd like to praise the staff at this Boots shop for their help yesterday. The branch are having some issues with staffing and are having to close at 5pm currently (not 5.30pm as usual). I turned up after 5 and the staff made an exception for me and brought me my much needed medication despite being technically closed. Thank you, I appreciate your help, great customer service. I hope you can get your staff levels back up to an acceptable level (pull your finger out Boots recruitment!) as you're a good bunch. X
