Words simply cannot relay my praise for this hospital. Having visited a couple of times myself, I then I had the pleasure of having my mother also looked after by the very best of them. Both Karen and Nadine looked after my mother during her pre-op check up where they showed absolute dignity and professionalism, always taking that extra bit of time in thoroughly explaining everything that was going on and what she should expect, in detail, throughout. If you choose to go down the Manor Hospital, Biddenham route, then you will be very well looked after in the most professional manner. Many thanks to you two ladies for going that extra mile, and always with such lovely smiles all the way.

The hospital staff is very well-trained, kind, and always ready to help. I felt well cared for throughout my stay, and I truly appreciate their professionalism and support. Based on my experience with the gynaecologist, he truly deserves a medal and the title of βSirβ. My surgeon, Dr Montasser Mahran, was absolutely exceptional β always friendly, compassionate and incredibly understanding. He was the first doctor who truly listened to my concerns and took them seriously, which made me feel valued and safe. I will forever be grateful for his care, professionalism, and the way he supported me throughout my treatment.

I was very anxious about coming to Manor for my hip replacement but from the first person I spoke at my preassment to last made me feel reassured. The physio both preassment and on the ward were extremely professional and explained everything that I needed to know to help my recovery on my arrival and throughout my stay the office staff, kitchen staff, nurses, doctors and anaesthetist couldn't do enough to make me feel safe and reassured The night staff couldn't do enough for me and didn't mind me pushing my bell many times. My special nurses were so lovely and helped me navigate my new way of living for the next few months I was funded by NHS but couldn't have been treated with anymore dignity and patience if I'd gone private Thankyou to everyone who made my stay happy and safe

After undergoing shoulder surgery, I began post-operative physiotherapy with Maureen Wicks β and I can honestly say she has been a key part of my recovery and overall well-being. From the very first session, Maureenβs professionalism, expertise, and caring nature stood out. She immediately made me feel supported and confident that I was in the best hands. Her thoughtful and structured approach to my post-op care was exceptional. Maureen tailored every session to my needs, always explaining what we were doing and why. Thanks to her guidance, I regained mobility, strength, and confidence far beyond what I expected. But what truly sets Maureen apart is how she cares about the whole person, not just the injury. Her encouragement and positivity made a huge impact on my mental health throughout my recovery. She turned what could have been a frustrating and painful process into a journey of progress, motivation, and hope. Iβm incredibly grateful for Maureenβs skill, patience, and kindness. She has not only improved my shoulder function but also enhanced my quality of life. I would wholeheartedly recommend Maureen Wicks to anyone needing physiotherapy after surgery β sheβs simply outstanding.

I recently had a partial knee replacement and everyone was so very helpful and friendly right from my very first visit. All of the appointments were carried out on time and put me right at ease. My operation went smoothly and my stay following the surgery was exceptional. There were always people on hand to help or provide advice if I needed it, and I felt very well cared for. The aftercare was also amazing with regular calls after my operation to check on progress and with scheduled follow up appointments and physiotherapy appointments. I would also particularly like to give special praise to Sandy on the main desk who was so very cheerful and welcoming every time I came in for an appointment. Her enthusiasm and bubbliness was quite infectious and I really appreciated it!

My wife has had a great experience at the Manor Hospital. Maureen, the physio has been so helpful and very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Mr. Garde who did the operation, did a great job, and her right leg is now nearly back to normal, and the scar has healed up very well. My wife found all the staff brilliant, and can't wait to go back to the Manor to have her left leg operated on, and get back to a normal life at last! Cannot thank everyone enough!!

I had a total knee replacement operation performed by Mr Edge in October 2022. At all times my consultant, Mr Edge and the rest of the hospital staff were professional, friendly, supportive and caring and I felt in very safe hands throughout my time at the Manor hospital. Maureen Wicks was my physiotherapist and she was superb. My exercise program was carefully tailored to my needs and with Maureenβs support I have achieved virtually full mobility in under eight weeks. Donβt skimp on carrying out your exercises as this will greatly assist your recovery and achieving full movement in your new knee. My sincere thanks to Mr Edge and his team for the surgery that was performed on my knee and for everyone else at the Manor Hospital for their individual contributions to the mobility I am enjoying now, in such a relatively short period of time after the operation. You have all been instrumental in giving me my life back and I cannot thank every one of you enough.

I attended the Manor hospital to have both of my knees replaced and the care I received from all the staff was nothing short of exceptional! The surgeon was excellent and all the nurses were so kind and helpful. The care I received from my physiotherapist Maureen was amazing! She was so kind and really went above and beyond to optimise my recovery post surgery.

I would like to thank everyone at The Manor for their excellent treatment, care and support. My rehabilitation was hard but well worth it. I was back dancing at 12 weeks. My especial thanks to Maureen Wicks, my physio. She worked me hard but she was very encouraging. She showed me what I needed to do, then made sure I could do it. My physio programme was on an app which was invaluable. Thank you Maureen, the hard work was definitely worth it.

I very recently had partial knee replacement surgery, I was very impressed with all the staff at the Manor, they really looked after me whilst I was there. The physio Maureen Wicks was really good, she gave me very good advice when I had problems on the first morning standing, she came back later and by the afternoon I was walking with crutches. Her help with my rehabilitation since then has been excellent always giving lots of encouragement. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a physiotherapist. I only had a two night stay at the Manor and can honestly say I was very impressed with the care given.
