Shocking customer service at the port talbot branch … I must say I am pleased with whoever the inept manager Simon spoke to at head office at 5pm today though … granting an exchange .. but I think this may have been in consumer rights anyway … so in a nutshell .. Gaynor (the assistant manager) witnessed the exchange being done but still said that she had denied my mother (a very vulnerable woman) a refund or this opportunity the week before knowing she could have offered it!!… it the two of them 40 minutes to exchange 15 perfumes on to a gift card … she even had the cheek at one point to tell me to “breathe” .. I gave her a glimpse of the awful stressful week I’d had to gain some empathy.. but in vain as then I decided to try the gift card out in case they were inept doing that .. I decided to buy 3 for 2 max factor .. but could only find two of my colour… she said to me “have you looked through the ones on top?”.. knowing I was stressed and could do without this .. I replied I “worked at boots and know you have extras in the draw below”.. she still continued to rummage through the unmarked ones on top .. before looking in the draw …then this was topped with .. thinking she would serve me these at the till …( Simon was yet again inept serving customers at the till … I waited at the till for her but she decided to talk to someone else in the store )… then she came to the till and said “I’ll serve you so you can be gone! .. “oh I didn’t mean it like that” ..I said “but I am next in the queue”… then the card didn’t work … she said that an authorisation code was needed … waited for inept Simon .. good 5 minutes to ask for a code .. I then said will I need an authorisation code every time … “yeh probably “ she replied … turns out she’d scanned the gift code the wrong way in the reader … good god!! .. please Superdrug .. I think these staff need retraining in logistics and customer service please!!

Went to this shop the other day and oh my God what dreadfull service. Rude ignorant un helpful staff. The manager with dark hair was awful. And the old blonde woman behind counter was equally awful rude attitude and not helpful in the slightest. Wat a great advert for superdrug. Boots is about 100 yes away so I'd advise anyone to use that store. So much more helpful friendly and pleasant. No star review for superdrug a complete disgrace

Went to superdrug aberavon shopping centre and was met by a very unpleasant, rude members of staff ( one with dark hair, other blonde, both middle aged ) The most unprofessional manner towards customer and the shop was presented as dirty and dishevelled. Never left a shop before feeling so dissapointed with a service and will never return, and was warned by others about the terrible service.

In local centre,car parking nearby, pay and display. Superdrug correct rules for the covid our visit we was lucky and it was empty. Surprisingly deals on make up and other items. Cheaper or the same on items I've bought In other store's. I haven't been to superdrug for a few years as I found other stores that were less expensive but today I was pleasantly surprised and I shall be visiting again.
