What's to tell everyone knows the co op they've been about for a long time. We don't live nearby, so we don't go there that much! But there are good products and good service there!

My wife and I shop at the Porthcawl co-op about 2 to 3 times a week. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and one member of staff there called Roy is we feel rather exceptional and makes our visits there more tolerable and even pleasant despite us both disliking shopping. He is always cheerful and chatty and always has time for everyone and the elderly customers seem to really appreciate his patience and humour. Even though the new Aldi may have a larger selection of items to choose from they don’t have a ‘Roy’ and that’s the main reason we use the co-op. Please inform Roy how much we really appreciate him. Regards, John & Ricky

I Went in to store today as i left house without my diabetes kit and was panicking as I had our little dog with me who's my assistant dog but I was told rudely I couldn't get a quick snack for my health even though I was not letting dog down. I get dogs not allowed in but this wasn't normal dog and I needed help as I was on my own. I can't help feel little disappointed I would have really appreciated help in this matter but guess it wasn't ment to be. We Won't be in the shop again.

Nice shop, with a large selection of food, drinks and snacks. Easy parking outside the premises. Co-op staff are very well trained and helpful. Prices are average for the area.

The aisle's are very narrow, making it extremely difficult to to get around and pass other people at the best of times, especially if the staff are stacking shelves! If you wanted to do your shopping whilst maintaining the 2m "safe" distance (during the current covid pandemic) from others, then I wouldn't bother going here as it next to impossible! (Unless You're the only customer in the shop!)

Very poor quality of vegetables and salad foods on display. Staff seemed stressed out and one or two looked very unhappy. The queueing system was good though as it was all at the one end of the shop and not umpteen queues appearing from each aisle.

Great service! We were finished with getting all the things we needed, and we were ready to get our shopping scanned and payed for. We had problems with the machine but a very helpful lady who worked here decided to help us get all of our things scanned. All your staff are helpful and polite! Thank you for a greal service.
