   Parking here is diabolical as a large portion of it is taken up by a mobile MRI scanner. Inside the outpatients. The blood test department is usually extremely busy hence the car park being busy, but the one thing I find infuriating is there is only 5 disabled parking bays and 9/10 times the bays aren't available because people who don't have blue badges are parked in them & for someone like myself who have to rely on them because I am an amputee (foot) as I can only walk about 5 metres it's not fair, Nene Park outpatients need a overspill car park!!

   I would like to say a personal thank you to the reception nurse who manged to fit me in for a blood test afters some issues trying to book online. massive help! I also wanted to thank the nurse that took my bloods, she was amazing and after busy day and not eating, I fainted for a period of time. She was very helpful and made sure I was ok. I finally came around after having some drink food, then back to normal. top service!

   Was booked for a blood test and told to attend 10 minutes before appointment. On arrival there was a queue of people outside the door awaiting blood tests. When I mentioned the time of my appointment I was told " don't worry about the time just join the queue. As a result of this my blood test was over half an later than it should have been. An absolute shambles . ..

   They managed to answer the phone but from there just goes down hill apparently its acceptable to wait until June in 7 months time for x-ray results and a change of medication so what was the point of bothering at all wasting money doing an x-ray as will be irrelevant in 7 months time. Receptionist sounded like it was too much to bother answering the phone which really gets my back up. First impressions are lasting impressions and this isn't a good impression.

   Had a surgeon appointment upstairs today. The queue outside was enormous for the blood tests. I said could I go through as I was for upstairs. The woman on the door said No wait rudely I said others are going through she said they are Drs. I need to ask you covid questions (whilst I might add not wearing a mask herself) I didnt realised that but it gave her no right to speak to me like that. Then once I got through I heard her say to another Patient I get abused all the time. 1. I didnt abuse her 2. How unprofessional and 3. If she does then maybe she should look at how she treats people that might answer why. The receptionist are so unfriendly as well they need to remember some people are there for serious health issues. They expect us to be kind and courteous well it works both ways!

   Satellite out patients assessment centre of kettering GENERAL HOSPITAL Nhs trust gives patient's East of the county the optiitions of having assessments without going to the main hospital in kettering minor surgery can be undertaken on site along with X-ray appointments, mobile screening units are also located at the side of the building to help promote health checks and patient's to get screened without travelling into the main hospital.
