   The Clinic MK have been helping me for a few years with private cervical screenings outside of the NHS recall protocol. They have been so understanding of my concerns and I always feel I’ve gotten the most out of my appointments and been listened to whilst I waffle on about all of my worries. It’s a world apart from my experiences within the NHS. The team are always so happy right along with me when I’ve received positive results. You can’t put a price on peace of mind and I feel so grateful to have this service to turn to when I need it. I would recommend the clinic to anyone, especially the gynae clinics with Symonne and Dr Chakrabarti.

   Avoid The Clinic MK. The services they offer are misleading. They are supposed to offer private medical services but their consultant is only available in the evenings at inconvenient times, so they are clearly doing this on the side. The whole point of private medical is to have an appointment when you as the customer want it. They also can’t book appointments more than a few days in advance, ‘once the consultant releases their diary’. They cancel appointment at very short notice, with less than 24 hours notice. They agreed to provide a refund of the fee paid but have failed to do so, so we have had to raise a dispute with the bank to try and recover the money. They also just don’t answer the phone or respond to emails. Go elsewhere. The appointment was made for my wife, I’m just dealing with trying to recover the money!

   So glad I have found this place! I wanted to get my contraceptive implant removed urgently. Called The Clinic MK and got an appointment for the same week- could not be happier. On arrival, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist. The doctor was very friendly, knowledgeable and has put me at ease. The whole procedure of removing the implant went very quick and smooth, I was pleasantly surprised. Price- affordable and competitive. Atmosphere- fantastic, if only I had another implant to remove, I would come back. Accessibility- easy parking, clean and modern building with all the amenities. I drove for my appointment all the way down from Bristol (3hrs) and have no regrets, thank you to the lovely ladies at the clinic for helping me! :)

   One of the best customer services I ever dealt with. I called last minute for a fit-to-fly test and the lady at the reception really went extra mile to help me! Thank you! To get to the clinic, you need to enter the big office building and then upstairs, first floor.

   I had an appointment booked at this private clinic for 22 September 2021 due to the current dire state of NHS GP appointments and being unable to get one until November (phone call only). I thought going private would speed up the process and also enable me to speak to a GP face to face. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the experience. I felt the appointment was rushed and the GP didn't take a full history of symptoms. I had taken multiple photographs of my issue but he only saw the first two and diagnosed the problem as an allergy. He told me to keep taking my antihistamine and that the problem was "on it's way out". When I asked how he knew that, he said "oh well because you are taking the tablets". We're now almost a month on and the problem is very much still present. I felt this appointment was a complete waste of £50. The doctor was dismissive and wasn't listening...only waiting for his turn to talk. I didn't feel heard or valued as a paying patient. The pros were: a friendly receptionist, nice premises, and quick appointment availability.
