BY FAR the worst GP surgery I’ve ever used. No appointments ever, no follow up ever and for some reason they refuse to review other exams. Even recent ones. I was asked to repeat exams I’ve had 2 weeks prior because ‘I changed GP’. I work for the NHS, records don’t disappear after you change GP. STAY AWAY
I normally attend the Woodford branch. I have never had a bad experience or d elay with this practice. I have quite a lot of med condition's so freq. visitor. Reception nurses and doctors caring, polite, and professional. The nhs is underfunded staff underpaid. If you supported last cons govt you supported 15 years of real income under funding. Doctors having real pay cuts and believe it or not some gp’s are out of work because of lack of practice funding. If you want lower taxes and worse health emigrate to USA. Stop winging and support the nhs.
Although hard to get an appointment, when it is urgent u can get one, u just have to take what u are given as if u need one urgently u cant be fussy. From right when u step in the door you are greeted with friendly helpfull reception staff. Personal experience is Dr's are usually on time for appointments or if u do have to wait its very minimal and also take the time to listen to you before offering their support. Kind and supportive staff throughout. Wheelchair friendly clean environment.
Very poor recent experience with my 3 year old son. Was told by receptionist that recent blood test was all ok. Only to be told 6 weeks later when a GP finally rang me that they were abnormal. Takes over 48 hours for urgent bloods results to come back. Shame because they have been good with my grandparents in the past
Been a patient for 3 years and always found the staff helpful and friendly. Visited today and start to finish it was simple, staff attentive and the Doctor was excellent today. I wish people would be less aggressive and more respectful to the centre staff when perhaps things are not quite right. Always find it better to work with people than against them.
Having had a few surgeries due to moving around I would like to say this is the best by far. Reception are always most helpful and friendly and great doctors.
Had a very helpful receptionist who managed to agree with a nurse to get my husband seen before her clinic due to specific concerns re a potentially complicated issue. Nurse (forgotten her name) was wonderful, unfortunately the bed in her room was not suitable for our needs so we were taken into another nurses room where both assisted and made us feel relaxed and looked after! Never had any issues with the practice. They have always gone above and beyond for anything i have needed! Receptionists have always been very lovely!
I helped my wife on crutches & mother in law Alzheimer’s and poor walker into the waiting room. Whilst parking the car my wife and mother in law were asked(told) to move to the back as they weren’t wearing masks in case they were sitting next to a cancer patient!!!!!!!! What next do we wear the Star of David are the furnaces going to be fired up. Absolutely disgusting attitude
I phoned for an appointment and got in the same day. Within a week I'd had two separate blood tests, phone calls from Dr Flynn plus a face to face appointment with him, and a scan at KGH. Everyone I've dealt with either face to face or over the phone has been efficient and friendly. Thank you.
Just been to the surgery for my flu vaccine at one of their Saturday vaccination clinics. It was such a well organised and efficient process. I was in and out and back home with a cuppa in less than ten minutes. Can't fault it.
