   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve always had very good experiences with the GPs, receptionists, and nurses at this practice. However, I want to give special mention to today’s visit for my travel vaccinations. Suzy, the nurse, was absolutely amazing - the way she administered the vaccinations, her warm conversation, and her overall manner made the experience so positive. She is a real credit to the practice.

   Three days of long phone queues before I could get an appointment. Arrived at appointment and was greeted by a paramedic- not a doctor? Then told there is a waiting list for blood tests. Receptionist was very unprofessional

   Excellent advice and help from the physiotherapist. He listened carefully and offered a number of practical strategies. The Grange Park surgery had referred me and the appointment happened within a few weeks. Before my appointment I spoke to the reception team at Hanslope who had also been very helpful. Thank you.

   Hanslope surgery used to be brilliant but frankly they cannot cope with the amount of patients they now have but rather than turning patients away they have taken on over 2000 more patients and cannot cope therefore their service and all patients suffer as a result. Firstly, it is a nightmare to try and get an appointment you usually have to try and call 20+ times before getting through to speak to a receptionist, prescriptions are never ready on time and often have to wait 30+ minutes in the surgery before finding out your prescription is not ready. The doctors and nurses themselves are usually great but the organisation surrounding them is terrible which is a real shame because it used to be a fantastic local surgery.

   I am nervous about sharing my thoughts publicly on here but I have had so many bad experiences at this surgery, punctuated by the occasional show of interest, that I feel I have to register my concern in some way. I know that Covid has put a huge strain on all services, but my problems pre-date this by several years and have continued. I know I am not alone and I think something has to be done. The practice where I used to live (out of area)was amazing.

   I absolutely give up with this new system. They take no account of alternative numbers I have given them, no account of peoples work type. Why can't they tell you a time they are going to call. It can't be that hard.

   Absolutely fabulous GP. The staff are superb very helpful, Receptionists, Drs, nurses are just incredible. I can't thank them enough for many times they seen my son in last minute appointments and direct us straight to Mk hospital.

   Today I saw Dr. Paddock. After an informative and useful consultation, I asked her if she was here permanently. She said (I paraphrase) not to worry becuse Dr. Barter had only gone to Grange Park for a couple of months. I didn't respond and it has been bothering me ever since, so I decided to put on here that I am not worried at all - I am perfectly happy to have Dr Paddock instead. Thank you.
