What a wonderful shop, great staff, glass choice is the best I’ve seen. It’s an 80 mile round trip ( maybe more) but so worth the visit.. I’ve been visiting for over 12 years,
Have been coming here for a few years now, staff really helpful and friendly. It's also good to see the same optician each visit. New glasses usually ready to be collected within a day or so. Would definitely recommend.
I am really happy with my glasses. The staff were helpful and professional. The eye test was thorough and i received a lot of help when picking out my frames, lots of choices to pick from. I felt very comfortable asking questions about my eye test results, the optometrist was very patient and answered all my questions.
As a long term customer I can easily recommend this for everyone. Staff is very nice, polite and professional, optician as you would expect from professionals. They have a great selection of the frames (all top designers) at reasonable prices. They never try to push me to buy whatever is "on offer" as the "others" - big chains do, just feel like they really care for their customers. I've been there for at least 6-7 years and do not even think to go elsewhere. Thank you 'the eye clinic' for taking care of me
After many years of travelling back to Gloucestershire for good optical care, and after a disastrous experience with another Northampton optician, I arranged an appointment at the Eye Clinic with a little trepidation. I secured an appointment for the same week and the chap that conducted both the eye test and the fitting of my specs was first class! He has a friendly but professional demeanour and is supported by some lovely ladies who are super helpful when choosing specs. Ellie deserves a mention for her customer facing attitude and helpful friendly manner. She is a real asset to this business. The range from which to choose is enormous and there is something to suit all budgets, with so many styles! The turnaround time to receiving your specs is second to none. I was expecting a 10 day wait given the lenses I had chosen but they were ready the same week and fitted the same day I was called to say they were in! I have never left a review of anything but this business was really worth a mention especially given that they are operating with the current pandemic. The premises was clean and airy with safety measures in place. I was very happy with the 2 pairs purchased, can see out of them beautifully, they look wonderful and feel great to wear. Good job The Eye Clinic!
