The new Anima app that the surgery is using for various reasons is dreadful. On 2 separate occasions I have received a text asking me to book an appointment through the Anima app. Both occasions I tried several times without success. The app requires you to enter your details and says it will send a verification code to your mobile. After 8 attempts I still didn’t receive a text. Also there is no facility to book appointments. You have a drop down list of symptoms or problems you have. The reason I need an appointment was not listed. I thought it was bad enough trying to book an appointment by phone. But this is infinitely worse. It shouldn’t be this hard to see a doctor. I’m sure people let problems increase because of the difficulty in trying to get in contact with the surgery.

This is shocking service from this surgery. They don’t listen when you ring them have no empathy. It should be shut down. All they think about is money not people anymore. Stopped my medication without telling me. Was told I needed a review. Rang for a review what a waste of time. The review I had was not a review me telling them I needed my medication that I have been on for 30 years. I can say no more just too many patients NHS is broken as we all know .

it is impossible to get an appointment. You call at 8am and the say all their lines are full so you can't even speak to a human being. Me and my kids are registered here for over 5 years and none of us have ever seen a Doctor not once. The appointment system is not fit for purpose.

Surgery phone lines are appalling and staff seem stressed and rude BUT Dr Kyle the best doctor I’ve seen In years it feels like I’ve won the jackpot when I have him for my appointment (if I get one) So caring and makes you feel better just by talking to him and not feeling rushed to be pushed out the door. Very knowledgeable will always give you good advice and ensures that you understand your issues, I’ve seen him about 5 times now and as always been the same. This is how all Doctors should be and could easily learn a lot from this very caring patient and understanding man. Wish there was more of him out there.

Just so everyone now knows you can't even walk in and get an appointment now, you have to call at 8am or 2pm where you wait 50th in a queue and then get cut off as all appointments are allocated, then an automated voices tells you to call 111. Trying to get an appointment for out little one no luck so end up at A&E. 111 is great when used in past but not sure why they have to get the call to get to see a doctor to call us back, it's like the surgery uses 111 to screen calls. 20 plus thousand patients and not enough doctors

Is this the worst surgery in Northampton? Endless issues with them. No one answers the phone, no answer machine to leave a message. Ridiculous phone queues, and calls get disconnected. Almost impossible to speak to a person, let alone get an appointment!

When will the sugery open, it's been a year and I'm finding that all my friends sugeries have been open for months! Can only call at 8am or 2pm, as receptionist is unavaliable in between those hours for some reason. Phone queues can be long and you can be kicked off. Then you have to explain your issue to the receptionist for them to get a doctor. I had a receptionist instead of getting the doctor to ring me she was birdy in the middle and was passing my message to the doctor on the other phone. Not to mention a patience issue is completely non of the receptionists business! You used to be able to just book a doctor online, why can't we have this but to have a phone appointment? And the Livi app which I have used twice has got me two doctors who weren't even from the surgury! This surgery used to be the best. To say it's disappointing is an understatement.

Absolutely terrible doctors, don't follow up on any monitoring as they say the would. No appointments after 09.30 even though I've been on the phone to them since 08.15 and been cut off twice. Tell me I need medication review to change my medication but phoned over 10 times and each time they say they don't have any appointments

Most doctors are good here, but the appointment process is stressful, if you can book one when you need it! Problem1: You can only tell them one symptom still the appointment. I had many symptoms caused by a single issue. How can they diagnose without all symptoms? Problem2: NHS doctors in general seem to be making money from prescriptions and not interested in finding the root cause. Problem3: The process of getting appointment with unfriendly reception is stressful. One doctor I saw was unkind and treated me like a time waster! Problem4: They never referred me to a specialist, even though I had private medical. My suffering was prolonged for nothing. Triage process is rubbish, I want immediate results, not having to keep going back again and again for same issue for 5 years. I gave one star because I resorted going private, easier to book online because it is almost impossible to get an appointment unless you consider it an ‘emergency’, what does this mean exactly, is pain an emergency? So for patients with Chronic conditions that flare up leading to pain, poor quality of life, anxiety, chronic fatigue etc, the process of getting an appointment or telephone call stresses you out even more! Recently I found out that my left abdominal Chronic pain turned out to be food related (honey and sweetness) after 6 years of pain and going to the doctors!! I wish I had done allergy blood tests right at the start.
