It was easy to book an appointment. Due to a bad experience with another optician, I was concerned about the level of experience of the member of staff who would be testing my eyes. Jude was very good at explaining every aspect of the testing process and asked the right questions. I also have a better understanding of varifocals
Always have a great experience here. Jude is a wonderful optician who is patient and calm and explains everything really well. He takes time to listen and is very thorough when explaining results.
Was easy to get an online booking with a specific time goal that meet me and the opticians. From I walked in I saw smiles and people busy with something and not just chatting about their life. The task get sorted quick and efficient. Happy to recommend them to anyone with any doughs about their eyes. See them.
Service was fast and the test was as pleasant an experience as it can be. Particular mention for Jude who was very enthusiastic, informative and helpful. It seemed like he enjoys his job and that shone through in the way he delivered the eye test. He even took time to explain the science behind different things relating to the eye and how it works. A very positive experience
I have been going to Specsavers for years, and have kept loyal since they found an issue with my left eye about 6 years ago, which needed operating on. However recently I have bombarded with Letters texts and e mails about making an appointment as it is way way overdue. I was not sure when it was due, you forget. So eventually I booked an appointment. I walk into the shop today, and I am quizzed and made to look a bit stupid, as I am not due until June for a eye test. So I said I may as well have one, but the young lady looked at me as though I was like I say stupid, ( yes maybe I am) So eventually I just walked out. I will now be going elsewhere.
Both my husband and myself have used the services of the Abington street recently. The staff are so professional and helpful but one went above and beyond... thank-you Amy for all your help. You are a credit to the team.
Good test but after received glasses, the focal length was no good for my IT job. Expained and replaced, but only slightly better. I tried to explain the nature of my job and necessity for right focal length to sit around IT monitor with clients and was told that was best they could do and dismissed as a difficult customer... will use professional service in future not one with high street, one size fits all attitude... not good enough
I had booked an appointment in a different clinic, but they cancelled the appointment on that same day. Since i had taken a day off for the appointment, i couldn't let it go to waste. I was glad that specsavers could book me in that same day. Amazing and patient staff. Speedy service
Eye test and new glasses. Very thorough eye test and a good selection of frames from budget conscious to designer. Spent best part if an hour there, it was busy and a good deal of waiting between areas. New glasses ordered and to be ready in a week. As high street opticians go this was a pleasant experience, I will use them again.
