    The Richards family do a brilliant job opening up the beautiful grounds for their events. The whole experience is so effortless and welcoming — you simply turn up, set out your chairs, unpack your picnic, and enjoy. There’s a certain crowd it appeals to, but the atmosphere is always relaxed and easygoing. Every time I attend, I get a real sense of value for money. The grounds themselves are absolutely stunning — quintessentially English and immaculately kept. Already looking forward to the next event!

    We went here on the 1st bank holiday in May for the classic car show and I loved it. There were some fantastic old classics, some of which brought back a lot of memories of being a teenager. There were also some really nice super cars there too. What a fantastic day out.

    What a fab place, lovely visit on Sunday 1st day of the season & what a lovely welcome, the guide was excellent & very informative. The house is beautifully kept & well worth a visit, we also had a lovely lunch each had a pannini & a homemade scone delicious, then did the recommend walk around the grounds just over a mile so nice & easy.

    What can I say this stunning family home was the key ingredient to our wedding day and set the most magical atmosphere for our families to come together. Jonathan and Elizabeth were the most perfect hosts and so welcoming and humble making sure the schedule of the day ran seamlessly. With the run up the wedding I was welcome anytime all my questions being answered and Jonathan doing the research with the suppliers. On the day I didn’t have to think about anything and felt a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. All suppliers knew the schedule and the clean up afterwards was all arranged by Jonathan. Many guests had conversations on the day and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know more about the venue and the family history. Such a lovely family and interesting family to get to know. We now have a special tie to this amazing venue and will revisit as we grow old. Thank you so much for contributing to most memorable day of our lives and lucky bride and grooms that are next in line to get married here xx
