I felt very welcome when I entered and Ruki was very thorough, explaining clearly about her approach. My main reason for booking a visit was back pain, with an added bit of post-running knee pain. I really felt that Ruki worked hard to ease the back pain and it has felt much better, but the miracle seems to be the knee! After probably 5 years of almost constant twinges, sometimes sharp pain, day or night, I have had no pain or twinges for 48 hours, even after an hour of Cardio Tennis, during which I normally have to brace myself to ignore the discomfort. Would definitely recommend. :-)

Excellent, Ruki is very knowledgeable and perceptive about what treatment is required and delivers excellent remedial treatment. She goes about her work with reassuring confidence with excellent results alleviating sports injuries and advising on appropriate exercises post- treatment.
Wow! I have never been to an osteopath before will not hesitate to go again if needed. I learnt I was must tighter in my muscles than I realised and this likely contributed to my pain. Ruki was thorough in her history taking and treatment. Limped in with pain and walked out pain free. Ruki listened, diagnosed and made me comfortable. I came away with knowledge and exercises to help me loosen up and help me with my daily walking.
The practice was recommended by friends. In just 4 sessions Ruki has been able to help me to get rid of excruciating lower back pain and sciatic nerve pain. Tiki’s advice on exercises has also proved of great benefit. Will check in regularly!
I was recommended to visit Chestnut Osteopathic Practice by my GP when I had issues with arm and neck pain. Ruki saw me very quickly and within a few weeks I was feeling much better. I still keep visiting every 8 weeks to keep myself pain-free - I know if I don't do that my symptoms begin to return. I'd recommend Chestnut Osteopathic Practice to anyone with aches and pains, it really does work. Don't keep moaning about it, do something about it!
Been coming here for 5 years or so. Absolutely excellent. Initially with very painful neck and shoulders which needed intensive work. I am now pain free and just come in every 6-8 weeks for 'running maintenence'. Ruki is very professional and explains what I can do at home to help my back inbetween visits. Clean, good parking and a nice waiting area. Prices vary depending on the person you see. I find it very gentle though have had some manipulation of bones done also...which was fine and relieved a lot of tension. I find it very convieient and relaxing. My daughter also came here after her birth as she was a emergency c-section after recomendation by midwife/other mothers. She was struggling with her tummy and hiccups/constipation etc. Within two/three sessions things were much improved and she loved the massages. So very gentle and smiled all the way through. We check her in/out as required. Plus she often comes with me for appointments (toys available in the treatment room! fabulous!). All in all a little gem! Highly recommended!
I’ve been going to chestnut regularly now for around 3 years and I find it a great help for my backache, ruki is very good and really easy going. I would definitely recommend it if your suffering from aches and pains.
