   Once again, I've had another great afternoon in the Broughton Hotel/pub. The food was amazing and Steve on the bar and floor made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended for food or just a drink with friends.

   Stayed here as a pitstop after a concert in London. Arrived well after 11pm but was helpfully informed over a booking.com message that my key card would be left in an envelope at reception - and that it was, after I found the hotel entrance in the dark. Easy and much appreciated. The rooms are slightly outdated and there are a couple spots of dirt such as on the ceilings, but overall very clean and well maintained, nothing broken like you often get in brand new chain hotel rooms! The bed was comfortable and a fan was included in the wardrobe, which was much appreciated as I enjoy the noise, and it was a reasonably warm night. Great value for the £37 I paid for the night.

   From the moment we walked into The Broughton we were made to feel completely at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, but what really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were incredibly attentive without being overbearing. Our servers Paula and Jo were knowledgeable about the menu and made fantastic recommendations, even going out of her way to check with the kitchen about a dietary request. They made us feel like regulars, even though it was our first visit. Drinks arrived quickly, the food was hot and delicious, and every interaction with the team felt thoughtful and personal. At one point, a member of our group accidentally knocked over a drink, and within seconds, it was cleaned up and replaced without fuss or charge. That kind of care and responsiveness is rare and really appreciated. It’s clear that the staff here take pride in what they do, and it made all the difference to our visit . We’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends. If you’re looking for a pub that goes the extra mile for its guests, The Broughton it Is

   Great staff attitude and very helpful. Good value food and beer at the attached restaurant. Rooms spacious but bathrooms are a bit dated, though shower good. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, WiFi and a TV but no BBC! Bed too soft for my liking. But good value and would use again.

   Went for a birthday dinner for my son and was disappointed from the start. Firstly don't think the waitress likes her job no interaction with us didn't even say hello ..she brought the sauce and cutlery and near enough threw them on the table there where 7 of us but was given 3 forks and 3 knives ..she wasn't happy when I asked for more cutlery...food wasn't very nice onion rings disgusting .. oven chips where dry and 3 of our groups steaks where so tough none of us could eat it .. all in all none of of enjoyed our evening out ..would not recommend this place.

   Stayed for the weekend. The staff were lovely and nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were lovely too, after reading some of the reviews I was concerned about going but it was great couldn't fault it. Would definitely recommend especially if you are visiting Gullivers Land theme park we were so close to it. We ate in at the hotel and the food was lovely. The service was great and the staff were very attentive. Great all round place to stay.

   Nice comfortable room (2 nights Saturday & Sunday), peaceful location, Lovely breakfasts and evening meals with Gluten Free Options, customer service was excellent, especially at breakfast time both from Ella & Steve. Only disappointment Bar & Restaurant too open plan, so noise volumes were high in all areas.

   Had a great meal this afternoon with my daughter and her friend from school. Service is always with a smile, staff are very friendly and happy to help. Food was very nice, came out quickly. We all enjoyed lunch with no complaints. Highly recommend.
