   I enjoyed my stay at the swan recently however a few things I would advise would have made the stay better. I appreciate the place is very old but would a usb charge point hurt? Not everyone carries adapters for uk plugs, so a simple usb plug point would have been helpful. Also my room was freezing cold when I arrived, I think to welcome guests the rooms should at least be warm. The radiator in the bathroom didn’t work either so the bathroom was positively arctic. I reported this to the desk on the first night along with the fact the lamp over the bed didn’t work but nothing was done to fix this. On departure I was offered a breakfast (continental style) to take with me when I left, how lovely I thought,, until I opened it! A box with ham n cheese, no croissant no roll ! Weetabix and milk ! What am I meant to with that ? Eat it out of the non existent bowl or cup? No drink no juice ,, 2 pots of fruit no spoon, yogurt no spoon! So my question would be what was the point? How on earth travelling at 5 am was I meant to eat any of this? A filled roll and a juice would of been much more welcome! Think before offering something so silly, so this is why the loss of stars. Otherwise a nice cozy stay, comfy bar, and good cooked breakfasts.

   We have stayed at The Swan Revived on several occasions (last weekend was the most recent) and our stays have always been relaxing and homely. Very dog friendly. Our dog enjoys her stays as much as we do, especially if Dave is working (the supplier of biscuits and cuddles). The food is excellent and priced fairly and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere for catching up with friends. We will be returning in the New Year.

   My wife Linda and I have stayed many times at the Swan and always found it a pleasure. Linda is waiting for a hip operation and finds it very difficult to get comfortable in bed. Consequently she often has to sleep in a chair. We stayed two nights recently and when we mentioned this to the housekeping staff they went out of their way to help, They brought other chairs from elsewhere in the hotel, provided an extra duvet and suggested ways of making Linda comfortable. Thank you very much to them all.

   Brilliant hotel. I stayed with my sister in a twin room. The room was really clean and a good size. We was at the front of hotel so we did experience quite a lot of noise. But overall a really good stay. All the staff were really helpful, warm and friendly. Breakfast was really nice also. Keep up the great work and thank you to all the team at the Swan x

   We were really happy with the room. It was spacious, well furnished with an excellent fan which cooled us on one of the hottest weeks so far in the year. The facilities were great with all very modern fixtures, fluffy towels and plenty of toiletries. Breakfast was amazing as all freshly cooked to order. We also brought the family for an evening meal with ages ranging from 5 to pensioned and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. We will certainly stay at The Swan Revived again next time we visit.

   We had booked 2 tables of 10 for a family members 90th birthday. The service was brilliant, the ladies serving food for the group and serving beverages on the bar were wonderful and the prices were decent. When receiving the food the appearance was good. However, the ‘fresh’ vegetables were probably a bit too fresh, cold, raw and not steamed. This could have been intentional but personally the guests of the gathering would have enjoyed it more if the veggies were steamed. All in all, good place to hold a get together and family gatherings, 8/10 :)

   We booked this for a 90th bday celebration and the staff were very efficient, obliging and contributed a lot to the success. Catering really good. We stayed over night and whilst decor and the quirkiness of an old listed coaching inn might deter someone used to high end accommodation, the room was spacious, very clean and bed very comfortable. Price per room inclusive of a high quality breakfast is very very reasonable. Would highly recommend.

   We booked a room for our wedding night and was quoted £135, they took are bank details and confirmed it was booked. We then received a call a few days later saying that we had to book for a minimum of 2 nights that weekend but as its our wedding night they will allow us to have one night at over £200!!! Fair to say we are now looking elsewhere. Disgusting

   We went for Christmas shopping so had 3 nights. On arrival we was given a room in the annex which sadly did not meet our expectations and spoke to reception who allocated us another room which was so much better and we very much appreciated it Housekeeping need to pay a bit more attention to detail when it comes to dusting especially behind furniture and windows but overall it was clean especially the bathroom Breakfast and dinner in the evening were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. A very good choice and service, beautiful room to eat in and so much to take in Staff were so very helpful and nothing was too much Hotel needs a bit of cosmetic work but it is a hotel with a history and character and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would not hesitate to stay again and will recommend it

   We really appreciated the lovely ambience of the bar and dining room. The staff were lovely and very friendly. We had a family meal, 7 very picky adults and all their tastes were accomadated. Food very good, hot and served promptly . They have a very good selection of gin. Over the past 17 years we have stayed in about a dozen locations around Milton Keynes and this was the best!
