“Great experience!! Hadn’t been a great evening so far, arrived at hotel to be greeted by Sunny - Sunny by name, Sunny by nature. Lovely chap and unknowingly made my evening so much better by offering a free upgrade. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Comfy beds. Thank you”
“It’s in a good business district location. Claim and modern. Typical Marriott and that the service is very friendly and the bed is very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Like the other moxie brand hotels, the room itself is small, but it certainly workable. The only limitation might be as if you need a larger desk space to work you won’t get it here. There’s a really large amount of common area space on the first floor. Pool tables, and a lot of other amenities which you can see. It’s absolutely crazy how much commentary space is actually. There’s also a very nice workout room with a couple treadmills and plenty of free weights. There’s a couple of restaurants across the street and you can eat at the hotel. There’s also a very large Sainsbury’s across the street for food.”
“My husband and I recently had our wedding here, and honestly it could not have been more perfect! The grounds are stunning and peaceful. The small Georgian manor itself is picturesque and intimate. However, what makes Woughton House really homely is their polite and friendly staff. Matthew, in particular, was absolutely brilliant in ensuring we had the best day! He went above and beyond, even getting one of our guests extra lamb chops from the kitchen when it had run out at the buffet station. Compliments also to the chef, as all our guests thoroughly enjoyed their food, especially the chicken! If there’s only one thing the hotel could do for future bride and grooms, it would be to ensure room service is available and that breakfast can still be served after 10am to the newlyweds. Overall, a very positive experience and I’m so pleased we chose this as our venue.”
“We have just had a lovely three night stay and we asked for rooms next to our friends and our needs were met. The staff are all friendly and helpful and always happy to help. The breakfast was included in the price and was very nice. We had lovely meals at the Harvester which is situated in the car park. There is lots to do in the area so that kept us busy. We enjoyed our stay here so much we didn’t want to leave so we will definitely be returning.”
“I had a great stay at this hotel! Everything was very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful – definitely 5 stars for cleanliness and service. The location is also very good (4 stars), close to many attractions, but it could use a few more parking spots for guests. Overall, highly recommended!”
“A wonderful place to stay if you are in Stony Stratford! The hotel carries its own history within the town, and the people are incredibly welcoming and lovely. I initially booked for two nights but ended up extending my stay with zero hassle. The pub is an experience in itsel, you’ll meet friendly locals who welcome you with open arms and great conversations. The food is also fantastic, delicious, hearty, and filling. Such a charming place full of great people. Definitely a must-visit if you’re ever in town! ☺️”
“My wife Linda and I have stayed many times at the Swan and always found it a pleasure. Linda is waiting for a hip operation and finds it very difficult to get comfortable in bed. Consequently she often has to sleep in a chair. We stayed two nights recently and when we mentioned this to the housekeping staff they went out of their way to help, They brought other chairs from elsewhere in the hotel, provided an extra duvet and suggested ways of making Linda comfortable. Thank you very much to them all.”
“Had a fantastic weekend at The Bell for our annual family meet up. The staff were fantastic and worked so hard to ensure our party of 12 were looked after in the bar, at dinner and breakfast. A great place to stay and eat in the a lovely Bedfordshire village.”
“Good experience. Room was big, gym was certainly adequate and sauna absolutely fine. Chicken caesar salad was over drenched with dressing, but apart from that it was delicious.”
“Had an overnight stay in Woburn last weekend. Longs provided a friendly and cosy place to stay for the night at incredible value. Highly recommended. The only small negative was that I was looking forward to a cooked breakfast that was advertised when I booked however when leaving the building at about 09.00am on a Sunday there were no staff on duty and definitely no smells of food being cooked. I guess I just picked a bad day but never mind.”
“We booked a last minute one night stay and although apprehensive about staying based on the reviews we went for it and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a Jungle Safari Lodge (python number 10). It looked great and we were happy with it, after all we are only staying one night. Double bed could do with a new mattress and bunk beds were solid but again one night only. There were a few kitchen utensils but didn't really look as we weren't eating in the lodge but if you were you'd probably want to keep cooking down to a quick, simple meal and probably take your own stuff so you know you've definitely got it. We booked a table at restaurant but couldn't get in till late (our fault for delaying the booking) cancelled it and found a harvester 1 mile away which was good. Entertainment onsite from 4.30pm seemed good (we didn't do much of it as eating etc). We had breakfast included in our stay and the menu was simple, we opted for a bacon butty. Bacon was excellent quality and the roll was pre cut with no butter, again didn't matter to us, we had a full belly and were grateful for the deal we got. I would visit Adventures village again next year if we got a similar deal. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was great fun.”
“Best Apartment in Milton Keynes! Super convenient and great value!!”
“I cannot tell you how strange it is nowadays to come across a team the just exudes customer service: Sarah, Zoe and the hilarious Christy always make our little lunch causers feel so special. Not only are they patient and kind, they go way and beyond to make you feel like the only customer in the place. Thank you for everything guys. We will keep coming back, even when no longer have about teeth.”
“Yes it's dated, and the rooms are overdue a refurb. But the staff are friendly, it's quiet, and (for what I paid) extremely great value. Breakfast was actually really good, and the food on offer in the bar was significantly better than expected - and fairly priced. They keep apologising about the long term roadworks outside which means it's a bit more complicated to access, but they really don't cause a problem. Parking is free as long as you put your reg in the terminal - but there are 8 foot high banners at each entry door reminding you to do this! I would definitely stay again for work.”
“I recently stayed at the Delta Marriott (Bonvoy) Hotel in Milton Keynes and had a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the level of service stood out! Every member of staff I encountered, whether at the front desk, in the bar, or in the restaurant, was unfailingly helpful, polite, and professional. The room itself was fantastic; clean, modern and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect space to relax. Breakfast was another highlight, the variety on offer was excellent, with a wide choice of fresh, high-quality food and beverages. Overall, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded expectations. I left feeling well taken care of and very much look forward to returning in the future.”
“Okay, so first this is a budget hotel and a budget price. Plenty of car parking. It took less than 1 minute to get my room key. The accessible room was close to reception and on the ground floor. The room was spacious to move around in my wheelchair and there was tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a good size. I couldn't use the shower, but for 1 night the sink was adequate.”
“Had a really good experience there. Great staff, very clean rooms and good rates for a multi-night stay. Astin on the front desk was always smiling and really helpful (taxis, suggestions for food and drink, etc) - a credit to the business. Located right next to Miller & Carter too and convenient for Milton Keynes sites and places to go. Small shopping complex a few hundred yards away... chippy, convenience store, gym and Subway. Would recommend this place for the staff and location.”
“This Hotel is great value for the location! The rooms are an amazing size, the staff are friendly and checking in and out is easy. It's a great stay, and a great price. It's close to the Shopping Centre and not too far from the Xscape. Would recommend!”
“It was clean and quiet. Rooms were quite small but had everything you needed and really all you want is somewhere to sleep. The evening reception staff were friendly and helpful. The morning staff were friendly. The location is good if it's in the area you want to stay.”
“Stayed here with my son just before New Years and it was lovely. The lady behind the desk (blonde short bob, sorry didn’t catch you name) she was so welcoming and made my son Smile! Rooms were nice and clean, I honestly had a great night sleep, Thank you!”
“Enjoyed a short stay here. The staff were very welcoming A+”
“Basic budget hotel, but we were made so welcome, the staff helpful with everything! The manager even got my mam a comfortable chair from his own flat, the amazing cleaning staff are so busy, always smiling and saying hello, the TV wasn't working due to a dodgy lead but the guy on reception sorted it out quickly. The orthopedic mattresses were great also. The main thing is being able to sleep in a comfortable bed! The continental breakfasts were quite nice with healthy options also, and lots of choices for a hot drink. We stayed in the hotel last night for food too very nice penko prawns and green vegetables. Thank you to all the staff you do an incredible job”
“I arrived late at night at Milton Keynes Coach Station. Landlord gave me clear instructions on how to access property. Worth noting that there is no elevator in the property. That said the property has only three floors including ground floor. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast not provided but there is a common area downstairs with a kitchen.”
“Modern and stylish B&B, renovated to an exceptional standard, with well thought out interior design. The host (Adam) was super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Our bedroom was beautiful, with tea and coffee facilities, cookies and plenty of wardrobe space. The towels were very luxurious and shampoo and shower gel was provided. The bed was extremely comfortable and a variety of pillows were available. Our room at the rear of the property had a Juliet balcony, with views over the garden. The breakfast provided included cereal, toast and boiled eggs, with orange juice and tea/coffee. We would certainly stay here again.”
“Lovely location for a variety of differing sights and attractions. Unbelievelbly friendly and helpful host Mike and sue run a very clean friendly and very charming bed and breakfast nothing is too much trouble breakfast is lovely and it will tick all your boxes. Totally recommend this stay.”
“It is a very nice building. Good bedroom, ver clean. We had a large external bathroom. There is a well equipped kitchen and a nice sitting area. We had a good brunch in the community café, which is located in the same building. Enough private parking spaces are available, although some were sometimes occupied by visitors of community café. A good pub is in walking distance, and many walking tracks are close by. The centre of Wolverton is a 15-minute walk. We had a dog friendly room. One of the three bedrooms is dog friendly.”
“We did a last minute booking & this place was more than we expected. The room was light, comfortable & very very well appointed. To add to this was the The Navigation Inn just across the road on the banks of the Grand Union canal. The cottage complex had a beautiful garden which we could sit in. Highly recommended, definitely worth a stay.”
“Wow what a lovely place to stay! The couple who run it are so friendly and welcoming! The rooms are fabulous and spacious. Comfy bed! Quiet! Slept like a log! Breakfast was perfect too and they know how to make a cuppa! Definitely will be staying again if I'm in the area!!!!”
“Very well kept and managed. The staff are all very helpful. The park is well maintained and immaculately kept”
“What a gem! Lovely, immaculately clean room and bathroom. Lovely facilities and lovely owner. Greeted by her beautiful dogs. Would definitely recommend this place. Very reasonably priced”
