   Communication from the property was poor. We contacted them twice prior to arrival regarding our two night stay and did not receive a response on either occasion. The room was not particularly clean. Under the bed had never to have been vacuumed and there were multiple cobwebs and a general build up of dust. We paid for an upgraded room and while the rustic, pub style feel was cosy and appealing, it lacked attention to detail overall. The bed was very comfortable but the frame was so old and squeaky that every time someone moved it woke us up so sleep was fairly poor. Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. However, on the final morning there was only one staff member taking orders and serving, which resulted in a wait of over 45 minutes. On the first morning it was also unclear what was included with our room rate. A drink was not offered initially and when we asked later, we were then told it was included anyway. That said, the staff were generally very friendly and helpful. We were also fortunate to secure a parking space at the rear of the property. The location suited our needs well as we were visiting friends locally.

   I and my wife having a wonderful Christmas holiday in D prays hotel. What a valuable price with bathtub included breakfast also nice decoration We take a lot of nice pictures. This time we have a small room not enough for photoshot but I want to have a bigger room on next trip.

   We had an amazing evening celebrating a family birthday. The welcome, service, atmosphere, and food were all outstanding, and we all had a fantastic time! The choice of dishes is very varied, so there are traditional classics on there as well as world fusion dishes - the chorizo Scot h egg was a definite winner! Special shout out to Flo and the kitchen team who made our night! See you again soon!
