   If you are like me, you don't always want a big chain hotel and like to use an independent. The Victoria is very comparable in what it offers but delivers differently. The room is no better or worse than at a big chain, but it is different being an older building. All is well maintained, the owner explained that refurbishment is always ongoing with a larger building of the age. The owner is friendly and welcoming being a real joker. Breakfast was ace, what you want served when you wanted, a takeaway option is available which would suit workers staying over- probably the core group who will go for the hotel. The owner explained how to access town and recommended where to go. We had a great curry just down the road. If you want great value, quirky accommodation and a great host, stay here. If you want bland corporate euru hotel, stay elsewhere and pay lots more.

   This the perfect B &B, So spacious, lovely bathroom & kitchen. The owner should be proud. Only thing was not as clean as I expected and there were towels and previous guests clothing left in the small bedroom. Note to owner: you have a wonderful property, get good detail oriented cleaners. You deserve them. Thank you for sharing this property.

   4 night stay with 3 children. Clean room. Always topped up with hot choc and coffee and biscuits. Owners are so welcoming and friendly. Had a joke around with the children and were sensitive to a bad situation. Thankyou so much would definitely reccomend!

   If you have no where else to spend night even than think twice before you make reservation in this cesspool. It is dusty and dirty everywhere beddings are unhygienic, dovets are so havey it feels like buried underneath a tone of gravel. Any complaint or request for explanation could possibly result into unleashing Mr. & Mrs. Bullies, who own this place.

   A friendly guest house, they make you feel welcomed. At such short notice, room was lovely. Could of had full English, but not me, plenty to eat and such a lovely choice. Staff polite and friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou very much.
