We did an overnight spa break last week. The spa facilities were good. The treatments we had felt slightly rushed. Food overall was good, again felt slightly rushed at the evening meal. We would have liked to change our starter but we were advised as it was a set menu, this would not be possible, this was disappointing. The accommodation, bedroom was fine, the bathroom had a very bad drainage smell, to the point we kept the door closed. Overall experience okay.

A girls night , with lunch, dinner and breakfast . We had a facial included in the package. Very relaxing break with good friends. Staff were lovely very helpful. Our server in the restaurant couldn’t have looked after us better but not overwhelming. The food was delicious.Rooms were spacious clean and warm. Fridge was great . Bed really comfy.

Went for a spa stay which was overall good. Positives as follows: - All food absolutely amazing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all delicious and so much choice and food. 10/10 - Spa facilities were great. Lots of different heat rooms. Lovely jacuzzi. - Rooms - spacious, clean and very comfortable. - Photo Booth in spa area - great touch and lots of fun. Negatives as follows: - I was given a rey bathrobe when my 5 friends had white and one of my friends didnt have a tie on hers so 2 trios to reception but both issues rectified - No changing cubicles in the changing rooms. - Some of the staff, definitely not all, did not feel friendly or approachable. - Different spa areas felt slightly disjointed and due to the staff not explaining where things were or how we had access we spent time looking for things. - Bathroom- shower head was loose and so oscillated while showering. I woukd definitely go back as it was a lovely stay! Just a couple of bits of room for improvement.

I've been here 4 times and recently had my 40th here. Love it. Service, food, spa all of it fab. If I had to give feedback I'd say the bed in one of the rooms was horrible and we had a bad sleep but only the one time. The rest was fab. And the spa treatment seems to be different per masseuse. So you could have the same package as someone else but receive a totally different experience. Also I think the staff should be stricted on savings the beds policy by the main pool cafe side. That was really annoying as we couldn't sit anywhere after lunch as people put towels down. Which to be honest is just rude. That said I will continue to come back. Always amazingly relaxed afterwards

Reviewing spa only. Pleasant check-in and given nice robes and slippers in our lockers. Enjoyed the spa although it was a bit busy and not many places to sit. The lunch was a reasonable buffet but there were people walking through the restaurant in swimming shorts etc on their way to the pool, which was odd. The pool area had padded sun-beds that were soaked through and not pleasant to lie on. Was also very dark in there. The treatment we booked was a glow mask facial. The photo shown was of an LED mask, however we were given something quite different. We had to sit in the public area in a swivel chair while the facial took place and a heat / light was lowered in front of us. As there were many people chatting directly behind us, this was not relaxing at all and we both felt quite vulnerable. Would not have booked this if we had known we would have no privacy. Overall I think the pool and restaurant area need an overhaul as they let it down. The staff were all pleasant and the beauty therapist was very good.

Great spa stay, just what was needed. Enjoyed the spa, would like to come earlier next time to relax more! George looked after us at dinner and he was exceptional, he went above and beyond to make it perfect in every way, George made our dining experience, thank you so much George. All staff lovely and welcoming. We stayed in a club room overlooking the golf course and it was perfect. Beds are a little hard but huge which made up for it! All in all a top stay!! Thank you!

It was a great spa stay . Staff were friendly and polite. However the lunch was disappointing as we got a printed form stating lunch is 14:00 when we went ti lunch at 13:50 there was hardly any food to eat. I asked if there would be anymore food coming out and some potato wedges were brought out. We hardly had anything to eat. The evening meal did not have much choice for vegetarians and everything seems to come with pasta. My desert of a chocolate was unbeatable and I did inform the waiter. It was hard and chewy. Breakfast was good.

Room was large but very sparce with furniture. Bathroom also large with a very small standalone shower that you could just about stand in. So much potential to give both room and bathroom a nice / wow factor. Spa facilities were good. When staying overnight with spa treatment would be nice to have choice of treatment times to have full use of solarium to suit stay.

Staff and service were wonderful, food was great and everywhere was super clean. Unfortunately we booked the night away in hope to get plenty of rest (as we had time away from children). The room walls are incredibly thin and due to some very noisy neighbours we did not get any sleep until the early hours (also bed and pillow’s definitely could be softer.) Currently home now needing rest from our ‘rest’. Such a shame, but would definitely recommend that the hotel when next renovating, consider better acoustics!!
