Phoned up on a Wednesday to get my non-running van booked in. Was looked at the following Monday and resolved by the afternoon. Clear explanation on the issue, documented by the technician on the paper work and a great price. Will definitely use again
Our car broke down while we were on holiday. Walked in and was looked after by staff. Car was repaired within 24 hours and prices were fair.
A huge thank you to Gary and the mechanic who replaced the clutch on our Renualt Traffic. We broke down on our last day of holiday and had a nightmare of a Sunday while we waited to find out the cost of repairs and whether we could extend our stay at our camp site. They got to work straight away and had it ready for us to collect late on Tuesday. I can't recommend them enough! I didn't get to speak to the lad that did the job but Gary is really nice bloke too. Found an issue with the brakes caused by work at another garage ( which I have now reported). Did what was required well and at a reasonable price. Will be using them again.
Dropped my car off for an MOT, it failed on a brake sensor, (i knew the sensor was faulty already). I was told by the owner that to change the sensor i would have to have new sensor, with new brake pads, and new discs. Was told £600+. When i asked if thats the only way he reassured me yes it is. I declined the work and took my car elsewhere. A different garage replaced my faulty sensor for £35 part & labour, and programmed the new sensor to the old pads, and told me no need for new pads and discs, he was shocked at what Autotech had told me. Obviously trying to squeeze unnecessary work from me. When fixed, i Took the car back to Autotech to get it passed for the new MOT, I explained what i had done and at the cheap price of £35 and said how it was just a new sensor and how it was fitted, replied to me with “Didnt know you could do that” thats it. Passed my car and i’ll never go back.
I have used Autotech for a number of years now and I honestly wouldn't use anywhere else now. I'm a driving instructor and Gary and his team always make sure my car is fixed and back on the road as quickly as possible as for me, time is money. I feel safe knowing that as a woman, I don't get ripped off and everything is always explained to me so I understand what's wrong with my car. I also like that there are never any hidden charges, the price I get quoted, is the price I pay. Do hesitate in using this garage as you will not be disappointed.
On holiday in Great Yarmouth and had an issue with my car. Phoned this company and they got me in the same day and fixed it in 3 hours. When I picked it up they explained everything they did in great detail and we had a good giggle too. Absolutely lovely guys totally recommend
