   The lady who helped us choose was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately after 2 weeks of waiting with no contact, I called them for them to say they hadn’t received anything and weren’t sure if they had it or not and told me to wait another week for their next shipment but couldn’t actually give me an accurate answer. I decided to abandon the whole idea and go with F.Hinds instead. Shame!

   incompetent and quite snobby if i'm honest. my boyfriend bought me a promise ring for our anniversary - unfortunately i told him the wrong size and it was too big for my finger. we went into this store and explained the situation - asked if it was possible to exchange it for a smaller size. a lady came over and sized me, initially she was fine, but then she asked to look at the ring (as expected). she asked if it had been worn, i explained i got it 2 days prior and had worn it for about an hour until i came to the conclusion its just too big and i don't want to risk losing it. she said unfortunately there is a few 'scratches'. she said she'll compare it to a 'brand new' ring, and put them next to eachother. i have 20/20 vision. i had to literally squint so hard to see what she was talking about - a tiny (must have been about 0.5mm) scratch on the side of the ring. she then said she can't exchange it because it's been worn. at this point i was a bit frustrated as i had explained that this was a special ring and no consideration was taken. she was quite smug about this too for no reason at all. i asked if there's no way it can be buffed out or something - she said no. keep in mind this is a multi-chain jewellery business, and you're telling me they can't buff out a miniscule scratch? so she pretty much said there's nothing that can be done, and i'm stuck with a ring i can't wear. thanks so much guys! really appreciate it. complete waste of time.

   Don't offer smaller ring sizes. Woman who served me laughed and said "You're joking" when I mentioned what size I needed. Went to the jewellers next door and they were much more accommodating.

   A high street jeweller's shop. Full of 80% off rrp jewelry. Some if the prices are nice and the stuff we have bought seems to be ok quality. Just don't pay full price else next week when you go by and see the same thing in the window at a fraction of the price you will be annoyed!
