   We were six families (26 people) getting together over the May Bank Holiday weekend, with children aged 1 - 14 years. We had fantastic time. The setting is absolutely beautiful. We played endless games in the sports field and there were three large different spaces for a range of activities inside when the weather was less favourable. We were nervous about booking Chellington because of the bedroom set up, but in reality the bedrooms were very quiet, despite being open at the top, and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. Would stay here again!

   Spent an incredible couple of days here on a crisis negotiation and communications course. There is so much beauty here and you can just imagine the residential fun because the building has been beautifully refurbished to accommodate big groups and I can imagine team building exercises also. Wonderful spot in the Bedfordshire countryside- you can feel the history in the building!

   Our recent youth retreat at the Chellington Centre in Bedford was an unforgettable experience filled with enjoyment, adventure, and relaxation. From the breathtaking greenery and beautiful vista, the grounds of the centre provided the perfect environment for our weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality by the hosts and owners of the centre. Their friendly demeanor instantly put us at ease, making us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. It's clear that they take pride in their work and are dedicated to ensuring that every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The facilities at the Chellington Centre were top-notch. The cleanliness of the centre was impeccable, and we were impressed by the attention to detail in maintaining an eco-friendly environment. Additionally, the hosts went above and beyond to provide everything we needed for the weekend, from a well-stocked games cupboard to modern amenities like a TV. One of the highlights of our stay was the wide array of activities available to us. Whether we were exploring the surroundings, engaging in team-building exercises, or simply taking a moment to relax, there was never a dull moment. We especially appreciated the environmentally friendly approach taken by the centre, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability that aligns with our values as a youth group. Overall, our experience at the Chellington Centre exceeded our expectations in every way. We left feeling happy, inspired, and eager to return for another stay in the future. Our time was fantastic and we would truly recommend the Chellington centre to other young people.

   This place was immaculate and Scott and Graham who we saw on arrival and departure were both very professional and friendly. The church is extremely warm which was lovely and beds were very comfy but expect them to be slightly smaller. The outdoor area is beautiful with amazing views fully equipped with a BBQ and fire pit with wood provided. We had an amazing time and would 100% revisit. If you are a group who enjoys the pub, the royal oak is a 10 min walk and does great food with lovely bar staff :) Thank you, we had an amazing time!

   Not for everyone, but definitely special. Maybe, if you're looking for a 5* hotel, this isn't the right place. For many other people this place can be amazing. The view is phantastic, the location special and visitors will meet a passionate and welcoming team.
