This review is long overdue, but it reflects four years of consistently excellent service from Michael at the Martin & Co. Milton Keynes branch. As a first time solo tenant, my time in the property was unfortunately marked by extraordinary maintenance challenges, including serious structural subsidence and a memorable burst water tank that led to returning from a trip to an "indoor waterfall" down the stairs, as well as general issues. Michael expertly navigated every one of these crises. Michael's support made living through these severe issues manageable. He was always approachable, incredibly responsive, and prioritised my tenancy experience throughout the disruption. He demonstrated exceptional flexibility, making specific adjustments to communication and maintenance visits to accommodate my night shift work schedule. I was consistently kept fully up-to-date with every development, particularly the complex stages of the subsidence survey. Michael is a genuinely helpful and lovely person who provides a highly professional service. To top off his dedication, he was instrumental in ensuring the smooth and fair return of my entire security deposit after the tenancy ended. Thank you, Michael. I do not know how they have 4.7 rating, they probably buy fake reviews or rate themselves using fake accounts. Rented through them, and it was a typical letting agent experience - they have the integrity of a used cars' salesman . They have tried to rob me for one month's rent by pretending that I did not notify them on time about me moving out. Literally, the guy that I notified both via phone call and face to face acted like I didn't - his name is Michael Fortunately, I had the receipts and they had to back off. Just to summarize - protect yourself , take pictures of the property , do all the communication via email and keep those emails because they WILL try to steal from you if an opportunity presents itself.
They were my agent since 2018 when I arrived in the UK. I will be moving place but I cannot say anything but good things to them. They have been very responsive to my queries and requests. Very helpful and genuine people. Thank you and pleasant having you as my leased agent.
Michael was a great letting agent. This was the first time I’d ever rented a property and Michael was very patient, answering all my weird questions and was super helpful if there was anything wrong with the house. I’d heard bad things about other letting agent companies before starting to rent myself so wasn’t sure what to expect, but Michael made it feel like I mattered as a tenant and I should get out of the house what I was paying for.
