We stayed in the Sky Barn in a group of eight on a family weekend away. Overall I would commend this place as it was a spacious and comfortable property but was let down slightly by some issues with the amenities. The location of Seaglass Barns was great for activities nearby at the Broads. Our stay was peaceful; we had privacy from the neighbouring barns, a nice view of wildflowers and fields, and the parking was safe. We really enjoyed the open plan design of the communal space and kitchen, allowing for a very social few days. The kitchen had most things we needed to cook meals, and the smart TV made it easy to find things to watch. The four bedrooms were very standard- spacious enough with storage space, a mirror and lamps for ambience. It was nice for two of the bedrooms to have en suites, but in one room as there is no door to the bathroom you could fully make eye contact from the bed to whoever is on the toilet... Unfortunately both shower drains were blocked causing the bathroom floors to flood, and one of the shower heads was broken with water temperature also too cold. These seem like easy fixes that would have improved the stay by a lot. We had a great time using the hot tub. The exterior of the barns looks a bit random, and the interior design was very random and disjointed too. Some more effort put into decisions with the decor would have made the space seem more coherent. One of the lampshades was broken with a sharp edge which was a hazard as it was at eye level! It would’ve been nice to receive some sort of welcome pack, upon reading reviews from others. For the price of the stay you would expect everything to be satisfactory, and for the most part it was. We had a lovely time at Seaglass Barns.

We stayed in “Sand” for 6 nights for a much needed rest and had a fab time. Previous poor reviews don’t really reflect the place we stayed in, although some slight tweaking could be done, as in a lick of paint here and there and a spot of weeding externally, we found it to be spacious, clean, excellent facilities, hot tub was great, and the little welcome pack was much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to return one day, lovely holiday.

The property genuinely is beautiful and spacious. The issue comes with the level of cleanliness and effort. We found quite a lot of hair on the dining table, floors and other surfaces. We had to empty the hoover of all the dirt as no one else had bothered to do it. We also mopped the entire place. Contacting the owners, Emma and Seb, seemed impossible as every phone call went to voicemail. The rooms were amazing but also needed to be cleaned. The ensuite had a bathtub which wasn't secured to the floor so rocked whilst you're getting in and (or standing). There was a shower head to use as well with no shower curtain and no way to change the pressure so the water went everywhere. The overall experience we had was a pleasant one but won't book here again simply because of the lack of cleanliness. It feels like the owners do not care. All contact we have had from them are from automated emails and nothing else.

Me and my family enjoyed every moment especially the hot tub. The area was beautiful and the location was great. We wish we could of stayed for a lot longer. It was so clean and tidy. 5 stars. Would definitely go back and recommend to others

Great setting in the fields well located for lots of things to do in the area. Use of electric car charger was very handy and the welcome pack was a nice touch. The property is spacious and well equipped but as others have said is tired and in need of a proper clean and a lot of maintenance. Showing plenty of signs of wear and tear (including one of the beds regularly collapsing!), half of the lightbulbs need replacing, the doors don’t shut properly, one tap didn’t work, one drain was blocked, some of the roller blinds stick. Etc etc. Hopefully a bit of money is spent on these and I’m sure they’d be great again.

We just spent a week at sky barn. What a gem of a find! Clean, well presented and ideally located for lots of tourism spots be that towns, the broads or the coast! Highly recommended and so much nature, we saw fawns, hare, owls and even an emu...

Very peaceful, spacious and comfortable accommodation with nice hot tub. Very well placed for the Broads and North Norfolk coast. Some aspects of the decor are a bit basic, but are consistent with its roots as a farm building conversion. We'd come again.

Lovely place, a really nice barn feel with a number of thoughtful extras like dog treats and Netflix. The place itself really does feel 5 stars! The pots were sadly not washed before we got there, it didn't take much time to sort though. The place is someshat difficult to find in the dark and is directly across from Broadlands eggs (which isn't clear in the instructions). The hot tub is great but if you don't wash your swim wear as soon as you get out, they will stink the place out, I don't know what chemicals are in the hot tub but the aftermath does not smell great. All in all, such a beautiful holiday at a very good price!

Set in a rural location about 15mins from the nearest beach Seaglass Barns have a lot going for them. There are three units here - we stayed in Sky which is the largest sleeping 8 people. The accommodation is a spacious open plan layout which works well as a social area. 2 double bedrooms, both with ensuites, 2 twin rooms and a family bathroom make up the living space. Outside there is a hot tub which is a nice touch. The down side was the lack of hot water and the owners attitude to the issue. After the first day it became apparent there was an issue with the hot water supply - basically the building is all electric so the hot water tank has two immersion heaters. The bottom one, which heats the whole tank was faulty so with only the top one functioning we had about 1/3rd of the tank for 6 of us to shower with. After the first shower the water was cold and it was an hours wait before the water was hot enough for the next. The owners attitude - there was nothing he could do. To be fair it was Christmas eve so options were limited and you could have some sympathy with this until you read other reviews and find out this was an on going issue over several weeks / months - he could have fixed it weeks before our stay!! We made the most of it but it certainly put an unnecessary negative on our stay. The resolution offered by Hoseasons was disappointing to say the least - and unacceptable in my opinion. For the amount we were paying I certainly expected more. Other negatives, in my opinion, - the second ensuite had a bath rather than a shower - considering the lack of hot water this was pointless. Even with the water working - who wants a bath on this kind of holiday. And the worst thing - there was no door on this ensuite so use of the toilet was very public!! The general cleanliness of the property was also below the level you would expect - in fact some parts were grotty and the cooker needed cleaning before we could use it. Speaking with other guests staying at the same time - they also had hot water problems and cleanliness issues - so it wasn't just us. In summary - nice location, spacious property let down by the owners attention to detail and Hoseasons poor customer service in terms of an acceptable resolution. I would not return to this property.
