The museum is not located as it appears on google map although I have suggested an edit to correct that. It is located inside the aviation museum up the track at RAF Twinwood. Glen Miller held his last concert at RAF Kingscliffe in 1944, there is a memorial there that you can walk to, he then flew to RAF Twinwood before leaving to entertain the troops in France, his plane took of and he was sadly never seen again. His disappearance has never been explained fully.

Great festival, started as The Glenn Miller festival, though a bit too big now and too diverse in its scope. Still get good value for money if going for all three days.

Great historic location with many interesting aspects of life during WWII. Nice friendly staff with lots of knowledge, well worth the small sum of £5 for entry. Called into the museum the day after attending the Shuttleworth evening flying display this weekend, If I lived nearer I would visit regularly. Credit to all those enthusiasts involved.

Once a year this museum is open to the public. A good 5 min drive via a private long winding road road. Entry was £5. Huge space, mostly flat and easy access. The museum is spread over quite a few small buildings. All on ground floor bar one small section that goes up a short flight of stairs. Interesting history especially for Glenn Miller fans. There is a Twinwoods festival weekend at the end of August for camping but also day access. Nice NAAFI cafe area with good strong tea & instant coffee. Basic toilet facilities. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Worth a visit.

Apparently this is not an official website. Turned up this morning, museum shut. Telephoned museum number only to be told.that the Correct website is owned by Twinwoods Festival. Not at all helpful on the phone. Wil not be attempting to return despite being a Glenn Miller fan. When look for Twinwoods festival website, there is no mention of the Glen Miller Museum?

Easily spent an hour plus here looking at all the memorabilia. Just learning of Glenn's story and demise was interesting enough but lots more to do plus coffee n cake!

This small but very interesting museum is well worth a little of your time if you're in the area. Located at Twinwood where Glenn was last seen alive and with his music playing in the background, we found it moving and informative and will no doubt return when next at the festival that started out to honour the great man.
