I'd like to say a big thank you to Shirley in Boots Lowestoft for her excellent customer service today. Many thanks for your advice and for looking for a specific item for me in the warehouse. Much appreciated!

The self service tills are useless, and there appears to be no staff serving on tills. Please change this, it makes shopping long and frustrating. I am going else where for my shopping, until this is changed.

Disgustingly rude. Wouldn’t answer the phone. So I came in and was one minute after closing time. I’m chronically ill and just needed to ask a simple question. Screamed at me to get out. Didn’t even let me talk to just ask a question. Just screamed OUT OUT OUT GET OUT WERE CLOSED!!! Disgusting and horrible to customers

I love shopping in boots Lowestoft up until Friday. I went around the store collecting my goods and then went to pay for them. There was two self serve tills which had customers at them and one unmanned till. I stood for over five minutes watching the people in front of me struggle with how to use the tills. Finally when I got there I had to interrupt one of the two members of staff who were standing to the side supposedly to help people if they need it. It is insane why not have one on the manned till and one on the shelf serve that way you have a choice. I feel sorry for older people who most probably a lying now go to super drug as they have manned tills.

Went into the store yesterday and I found their staff and customer service atrocious. I had an issue with the self service till as only other cashier was helping someone. She seemed really nice and helpful. I tried to get help but no one was coming. I went to a counter woman on the Clinique as she was the only person not dealing with a customer. I interrupted her messaging and asked for help. She refused saying I needed someone in a white coat. Didn’t see anyone like that. Eventually another counter lady, possibly No7 helped me. Such poor service and it is no wonder that the shop is empty. Come on Boots raise your level of customer service please!

Boots pharmacy: staff are rude and clearly don’t know what they are doing. Had to pay for my prescription twice, when I had already paid (and showed proof) the lady said I must be confused. Won’t be sending my prescriptions here again and I advise others not too also.

Arrived at 8.30 am to pick up prescription, stood over half an hour and no one’s served me , so I left . There were around 4 pharmacies, putting boxes away ignoring customers. I will never come to this place again .

The pharmacy customer service is dire. Absolute lack of any pleasant interaction with customers. Endless waiting times in ever growing queues or when you finally get to the front of the queue your told your prescription isn’t ready and you’ll have to wait or come back in 45 minutes. When prescriptions have been preordered online days before how can there be any delay? Surely there must in store practices in place to prepare online requests for prescriptions? Don’t bother wasting anytime trying to ‘phone the pharmacy, either directly or via the main store number, no one ever answers.

I’m reluctant to say this but the staff on the tills in the middle of the shop need retraining in customer service. They tut at people, accuse you of throwing shopping at them (this was with 3 children in tow so I can promise you I had better things to do) and have an air of deigning to serve you. They are unpleasant and it’s enough to make you go to Superdrug for whatever you need. The make-up and pharmacy staff are very nice though. Maybe Boots should organise a till staff trip to Superdrug so they can see how it should be done.

I'm fairly sure this place hasn't had a re-fit since 1985. You'd think that would be a bad thing- but no!- it feels like your childhood wrapped in a pair of mittens on a frosty february morning. Or a trip to a long forgotten branch of Wimpy. Or watching He-man with a bottle of Panda Pop. But I digress..... Well stocked and helpful staff. And retro shop fittings.
