They do seem to get a bit of flack but we've found them nothing but helpful. My daughter gets my prescriptions. Tend to ring first and they are always ready. Must be a very difficult and busy job. Shout out to the young lad with the headset on. Always polite and courteous.
All I can say is ditto to all the 0 andb1 star review. They have absolutely no idea how to run a pharmacy. Today queue of 6 people with person in front of me waiting for an hour.
I would give Zero stars if possible. The pharmacy is unorganised, under staffed, ridiculously slow and painful to use. I have been using this pharmacy for 10+ years but it has never been this bad. I requested my regular prescription electronically through my surgery on Monday. Tesco pharmacy would have received it the same day. I went in on Saturday to be told it has been received but its not ready yet. Told to come back in half an hour as the pharmacist was on a break. Returned in half an hour to be told the pharmacist is still on break and my prescription is still not been sorted. I returned 2 hours later and I am now in the queue again which is 10 people deep and it's been half hour already. I will be making other arrangements for my regular prescription and I would advise anyone to avoid this pharmacy unless you have absolutely no other option.
Over 40 minutes for a prescription today then tried to give me one I hadn't requested which I said I would have too as it was for my other daughter save her the trip as we live in the same house. Then refused to give it to me as she's an adult yet happy to give me the one for my son whose older. Didn't start filling the prescriptions I had actually gone for until after she refused to give me my daughter's. And there was no queue for a change yet still had to wait.
Doctor sent over my prescription & i had it collected within 5 minutes. Quick & efficient staff especially jayde, she’s a real asset to the team.
Useless, slow, uncaring staff. Partner had a panic attack because one pharmacy was closed and she needed it fulfilling by another, as tablets had ran out. Just told her to phone 111. After phoning and getting another prescription had to wait another 45 minutes±. Would've thought they'd have had the decency to help her out after seeing she needed help. Absolute disgrace. Stay away!
Waiting times are horrible, staff stand around and do nothing. My mum went down there at 9pm last night and there were around 10 people in front of her (she is disabled) and ended up having to leave because she couldn't stand for that long. You can see the staff chatting in the background, laughing whilst their customers are queuing way past vision express. Boots in weston favell is much better, friendly staff who actually care about their service users. AVOID TESCO PHARMACY!!!
Extremely long wait trying to get meds 4 Nephew - then told none in stock and said got them in liquid form when said yes they then say can't give with out doctors permission!! Another pharmacy got the right meds - but told the pharmacy must divert meds to them first - so i been on phone for 30 mins and one picked ups up the calls - the worst Pharmacy in the whole of Northampton I would say ☹
The staff are unbelievably slow, there are up to 5 staff members in there at once sometimes and they sit behind the screen doing absolutely nothing. Avoid this pharmacy if you want any good service. They have just put a sign up stating “please be aware, wait times may be up to an hour we apologise for any inconvenience” the staff are stood behind the computer laughing about their sign and the queue that has formed…
