The staff here are professional and friendly and if there is an issue they explain options available and possible causes. Our family repeatedly experiences communication difficulties regarding our medication. They consistently fail to inform me or my family members that our regular repeat prescriptions were either: out of stock, discontinued, or that there is a national shortage. This has happened on a number of occasions. Too many for it to be just a blip. Sometimes, I've had to revisit the pharmacy a couple of times before they eventually reveal to me what the actual issue is. It would have been very helpful to know the very first time I popped in to collect my medication. I just get placated with "pop back another day" when unbeknownst to me, there's actually a problem that is yet to be revealed until my third visit. It's a waste of everyone's time and leaves me with less time to get the prescription fulfilled elsewhere. I enquired why they don't ring their customers when their repeat prescription can't be fulfilled by them, and they said, "It's not something we do." I was gobsmacked by that response. It leaves the customer in the dark and doesn't make any sense to me. Better customer communication would be much appreciated. Medication is vitally important. It's a real shame as the front of counter staff are actually fantastic and provide great customer service.

Utterly appalling. My 90 year old mother was having breathing difficulties because her GP surgery hadn't signed off the athsma medication she regularly uses. I phoned Touchwood and spoke to Waheeda who blatantly refused to issue an emergency prescription saying 'it's not something we do.' I am now left with phoning 111. She showed an utterly appalling contempt for human life. I will be making a formal complaint to the Care Quality Commission and taking legal advice.

Absolutely horrendous experience! Short staffed, badly organised, with the average age in the massive Covid jab queue north of 70! People with mobility problems made to wait outside and for over an hour! My guess is; the money is good for pharmacies!
