   Super disappointing company. As an official Ohlins service centre, I went to them to order replacement parts for my forks. About £700 worth. Took 3 weeks to arrive, but that’s fine. However when I took them to the garage to be installed, the mechanic discovered I’d been sent the wrong parts. Jane eventually admitted that it was her mistake and that she had ordered the wrong parts, but refused to take any responsibility for the £100+ I had to pay the garage to put my forks back together without having completed any work. Or the massive inconvenience her mistake caused (time off work, wasted hours at the garage, more wasted hours arguing over email). I didn’t get so much as a phone call back from her to admit her mistake and apologise. Just an arrogant email stating that the onus was on me to check the parts I received. I foolishly assumed that the onus would be on the authorised Ohlins centre to supply the correct parts. Stick with eBay. They have better customer service.

   Had my Gen 1 S1000 XR front forks rebuilt by BG Motorsport last month, fantastic service from very knowledgeable staff. Today I returned to have my 2025 Honda Hornet 1000 SP suspension setup, as the stock Honda settings were awful. Ben took his time to setup sag, compression and rebound correctly for both front and rear to balance the chassis. A couple of test rides and fine tweaks were made to suite my preference, What a huge difference the ride home was!! Well worth the investment. Thank You for your expertise and time today.

   Absolutely splendid company to deal with and this is why. Back in July I phoned up and spoke with Ben to enquire about getting my Thruxton R suspension setup. From the outset Ben was exceptionally caring as I informed him I was a fair weather rider. This was no issue to Ben who reassured me that they could accommodate my needs. During the conversation on the phone Ben asked questions, which led him to believe I might need uprated Ohlins springs as I was borderline weight wise. Ben ordered them in and said they might not be needed but it was better to have them to hand than not. Anyway just over a week later I booked in to get them done. Just before I was due to visit I major mechanical fault appeared on motorbike. I phoned Ben and explained the situation. Ben showed empathy and told me to call back once it was sorted. I kept in touch with Ben every couple of weeks. Finally in October I got my bike back from repair. On my first outing a further fault appeared. I dreaded calling Ben this time but nervously did so thinking Ben might think I was taking the biscuit so to speak. Ben understood and showed no sign of getting frustrated with me. Second fault fixed booked in once again. It took approximately 4 further bookings in order for the weather to be dry. All I can say is that Ben has the patience of a Saint and true his word not only accommodated me but went above and beyond anyone’s expectations. Upon arrival at BG I was greeted by Jane who was very polite and offered me a drink and gave me a seat near my bike. We had a natter and just like Ben Jane was an absolute pleasure to deal with. A short time later I was introduced to Victor, who was going to be responsible for my suspension setup. Victor was very knowledgeable he took various measurements around my bike. I wont cover the details on this review as that spoils the fun. Anyway just like Ben and Jane victor tended to my every need. Initially he setup my bike using the stock Ohlins springs however it quickly became clear that they were on their limit, no pillion could be carried. Following a discussion I opted for the uprated springs. During the rest of the morning once the new springs were fitted I did several test rides with a few tweaks and we got to a very happy place. It was like riding a different bike. The whole experience was out of this world. If anyone is considering getting their suspension looked at whether service, purchase or modification you really are in safe hands with BG Motorsport.

   Just had my Street Triple Rs suspension setup by the guys at BG Motorsport. So so happy with the end result. Really knowledgable and super friendly. As a novice a bit unsure of what certain terms meant but they explained and the setup now feels way better. Money very well spent!!
